(So Frostwing is atill alive? Ooohhh... Things are gonna get messy soon..... And does her name have to be BRIGHTkit? What about Lightkit?))

Brightstar nodded, mirroring the scared look. "If we train you by our finest warriors, soon you will be strong enough to help us with the battle of our lives." Brightstar looked fearfully between Mintdream and her new kit. "Things will be harder than ever; Cats will suffer and die, our Clan will be shattered.... The battle between SunClan and DarkClan will begin."

((I was changing it- Brooke had no idea of Brightstar, but she did have a feeling she should give her kit a clan name.))

Mintdream seemed to melt inside. I have kits inside me, too- i think Brightkit- oh. She should have her name changed- Brightstar might not appreciate a kit having her name. "Brightkit, would you mind if from this moment forward, you had a different name?" She meowed.
"I don't mind." She mewed. She looked at Brightstar with wide eyes, adrenaline and wild excitement in their amber depths. "I might be of some help if any of them get near me," She meowed gleefully. "Mama told me most of the warrior code and traditions.. about StarClan, ranks, everything, but it was rushed." She yawned. "i wouldn't kill any of them, not like the big white cat. Frostwing escaped when mama did, too." mintdream sighed.
"Brightstar? Do you wish to rename her, since she was born with this name, but it isn't suitable for her in the clan since you are Brightstar? Or would you like to pretend she was born with a name, and have me change her name, just simply right here?" She asked curiously, and sighed. "I'm not hiding my worries- But Brightstar, can I suggest you have a warrior guard the nursery? The kits aren't safe, if DarkClan is in battle with us." She shivered.

Icefur let out a sigh as he padded out of the nursery. Crowkit following behind in his footsteps. he was grateful for his brother but he all he has ever wanted was for his brother to respect him and to make his father proud. he hung his head and sighed deeply.

Russetstream padded out of the warriors den, his golden-brown tabby coat gleaming in the sunlight. He saw the dead tortoiseshell she-cat laying in the center of camp, and he padded up to her. He scented her coat- and when the scent hit him, it brought back childhood memories. He was a young kit, and a pretty, smiling apprentice with amber eyes and tortoiseshell and white fur was looking down at him in his nest. Brookpaw! He thought with a sigh. He felt sadness well up inside him. My sister... apprenticed before me, I was so jealous... He let out a small wail of sadness. "Brookpaw.." He whispered. He felt fur beside him, and he looked down and gaped at the kit he saw. A tortoiseshell and white she-kit with amber eyes- but their brightness was dulled with less understanding than he remembered, and all happiness was hushed by sorrow. Then he realized who this must be.
"Are you Russetpaw?" She meowed. Russetstream stared at the kit, wordless. "My mother told me a lot about you- but she said everything was gone when she was taken." the kit shivered.
"B-Brookpaw is your mother?" He glanced at the body.
"Brooke was her name when she lived, but yes." Russetstream burried his face in her fur. It smelled of blood, Mintdream, Brooke, and several other scents he couldn't recognize, including her own unique tang.

Brightstar thought, her ears twitching. "I would beleive it would be best for you to name her, here and now. She is your kit now; your responsibility. I would suggest Hopekit though," she meowed. Brightstar looked out of her den, still listening to Mintdream. "Yes, that is a very good idea." she sighed. "I never thought this day would come; the day we knew that DarkClan would bite back; would finally take revenge on the cats that have done no harm." she dropped her head onto her paws. "The apprentices will need to become true warriors aswell. They will need to be trained by the best in the clan." she exclaimed. "I would ask you, but you've got enough on your paws already." she pointed her tail to Mintdream's tummy.

Mintdream nodded, and she sighed when she saw hopekit bolt from the den. "Yeah,"

Squirreltail looked for Crowkit. "Crowkit.." she said worriedly. "Where are you Crowkit?!"

Hawktalon heard Squirreltail, then looked to her left to see a very young kit walking along alone. She grabbed Crowkit's scruff and brought him back into the nursery. "Looking for this?" she said once she has placed Crowkit by his mother.
"Yes.. Thank you so much!" Squirreltail purred happily.

Crowkit squirmed in her mouth.

Shadowpatch groaned not wanting to get up. He nuzzled his face in her fur.

Icefur padded around the fresh kill pile.
