Echolight entered the camp. She dropped off her prey then watched Featherpaw chase the grasshopper around the camp. Each time she got close enough to leap the grasshopper would leap away first. Echolight purred in amusement. "Try waiting for it to stop moving then crouch and sneak up on it," she suggested with a purr. "Don't let it know you're coming."

Featherpaw purred "Ok.." She waited until it turned around. She crouched down low and snuck closer. She finally pounced catching the grasshopper and squishing it. "How was that" She purred happily while walking in a circle around her prey.

Darkfoot continued padding to camp.

Jaywing padded toward camp as well. "My paw feels better," she mumbled

"Perfect! How about tomorrow we try that on some real prey?" Echolight purred amazed by how quickly she improved.

"We may as well still get back to camp" Darkfoot mewed.

Jaywing jumped as a startled mouse ran from under a bush. "Ok." She mewed, then flung a pawful of leaves at him playfully

Featherpaw gasped. "Yes, I mean uhh Yes mam'.. Ugh, Thats sound good... Ughrr.." She messed with her paws and smiled. She was excited that she was going to get to catch real prey for the clan. She stood next to Echolight and her stomach growled. "Hehe I guess someone deiced what to do next." She said looking down at her stomach.

Echolight purred with amusement. "You can just call me Echolight," she meowed, laughing. She flicked her tail tip towards the fresh-kill pile. "Lets get something to eat." She selected a squirrel off the top and waited for Featherpaw to select her's.

Darkfoot laughed and threw leaves at her back, not shaking the leaves decorating his pelt off.
