Shadowclaw looked down sadly unsure of what to say. "I just don't know what I will do without them and Dapplelight." He said quietly almost hopeing she would not hear. He know that he was acting irrationally, but he couldn't stop the way he felt about it.

Spiderweb watches the kits happy that they had found a cat to feed them. He smiled and sat down looking around himself. He felt good.

Rosekit awoke shaking her head. She opened her eyes and smelled around her. She could smell that unfimiliar she cats smell and the voice in her head rolled away and a new one came again. "befriend ghostkit." it said. Her regular voice piped up,"is this rosekit?? The old one, again??" the other voice laughed "yes, it's me." her spine tingled as a paw was gently laid on it. " I'll begin appearing to you now. Though you won't see me i will be there. But only you can hear me." rosewas puzzled " why can only I hear you?" the other cat began whispering very quickly," I am a secret. I must go they are coming. Don't tell my secret." then she was gone and rosekit was alone.

Dawnkit awoke looking over at rosekit. She was thicker than rosekit and sweet. She prodded rosekits shoulder gently and stood up. Rosekit rolled over and smiled staring blankly at dawnkit. Dawnkit smiled sweetly back and whispered "were going outside." she put her tail on roses shoulder and rose stood up. Rose felt heat from her other littermates and stepped easily around them, following her sister out of the den. When they emerged rosekit smelled ghostkit. She stuck her ears up and looked at her sister," follow me." she said. Dawnkit tapped her shoulder with her tail and followed her sister, amazed at how she could make her way through camp so well. She made it to the med sen and stepped in smelling a new cat. Age also smelled shadowclaw and bounded up to sit next to him. Dawnkit looked at the cave of cats and hesitantly followed sitting down a few taillenghths away.

Pinefrond decided she'd not listen. She didn't want cats to feel sorrow, and she'd rather not hear it either. She found herself yawning.

Shadowclaw shook his head slightly trying to clear his thoughts. He smiled slightly seeing Rosekit and Dawnkit enter the den guessing she wanted to play with Ghostkit again. "I don't believe I ever asked your name." Shadowclaw said turning back to Pinefrond. "My name is Shadowclaw. May I ask what your name is?" He asked reaching down to lick Moonkit clean while she slept.

Rosekit placed her paw on shadowclaws to show she was addressing him. She stuck put her chest a ms held her head high, "sir, would ghostkit be able to play with me and my sister when he wakes up? She flicked her tail. Dawnkit and rosekit looked exactly the same. Same body, movement, and the same shiny gold fur. The only difference were the eyes. Dawnkits were bright green and very lively while rosekits were cloudy blue and vacant.

Shadowclaw looked down at Rosekit with a nod. "Of course he can. Thank you for asking and I am sure that he has been wanting to play again to." He said with a smile remembering watching them play in the den before.

Rosekit smiled staring blankly with her head turned in his direction. "thank you shadowclaw" she said. Dawnkit was getting nervous with all the cats around. Especcially because they were bigger and older than her. She decided she was too likely to make a fool of herself and carfully got up to where rosekit could not hear or feel her motions , but alas a pebble scuffed across the floor and roses ears turned in that direction and she asked " where are you going?" unsure of what to say she padded over on wobbly feet and sat next to her sister. "nowhere".

Inksplash walked through the forest, A slight breeze ruffled his fur, Carring the scent of mice His ears flicked and he got into the hunters crouch, Stalking the Prey.

Ghostkit smelled his friend... He stood in front of Rosekit, then said, "Come on!" He tumbled from the spot he stood, hoping she'd follow.

"Pinefrond..."She responded to Shadowclaw.

Rosekit felt his movement and jumped up excitedly, following him playfully. Dawnkit sat still and looked up to shadowclaw. " hello sir," she said politely. She wasn't very interested in playing with that Tom. She was more interested in growing up and being at the top of her game at all times. She spoke like a business woman.
