Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

the expecting queen stirred slightly in her sleep, endlessly plagued by nightmares of that night. he didn't make it. the tragedy had affected everyone differently; the apprentices had mothers and fathers who cherished them dearly.... and then there was her. bramblingflower desperately missed her mate, risenflame, but he would be praised and honored for generations to come. a few tears slipped down her cheeks, but the queen managed to pull herself together. she had to think of her kits now, her beautiful, lovely kits. cloverheart and her two kits were sleeping safe and sound in a warm nest of moss and feathers beside her. bramblingflower smiled gently at them, wondering what her own kits would look like. deciding it was way past the time to get up, she slipped outside of the nursery, looking around to see who was already awake. she heard murmurs that finchpelt was missing, but she didn't think much of it. after all, things had been mostly quiet since they had returned back to camp, right?

Foxfall nodded. "Good idea." The russet warrior padded alongside Lichendrop,
tasting the air for prey, and for Finchpelt's scent. After a while, he started to smell his clanmate's scent, along with.. blood.
"He's hurt!" Foxfall raced ahead, following his nose. A shape began to form in his vision as he got closer. All of a sudden, he stopped. Finchpelt was buried under a tree, no sign of life in him.

Following the tom to hunt and padding alongside him, ears perked for any signs of the missing warrior, Lichendrop yelped as she, too, caught the scent of Finchpelt as well as... death. The blood smell overwhelmed her as she hared up to catch up with Foxfall, spotting the crushed body of Finchpelt under a tree beside Risenflame's. "Finchpelt's dead!" Lichendrop shrieked in horror, backing away slowly with fur bristled in fear. "He's..." Her cries faded to a soft whimper of grief as she observed the catastrophe.

Lavenderleaf woke up in confusion the ringing of a loud noise echoing in her head from last night, What happened!? Was it an explosion!? Did something fall? Oo~ Did Blazenose fart again!!?! He has the most explosive farts! Lavenderleaf giggled to herself as she snuck a peek at her still-snoozing mentor and adoptive half-brother.
Her face painted in a mischievous look she bounced her way outside and towards the nursery, I can't wait to play with Silverkit and Chivekit today!! Ooh... but- Lavender glanced back at the den she left so eagerly behind her, -I... I have check-ups to do as well. Lavenderleaf was assigned with the procedure of doing routine check-ups on Bramblingflower and her pregnancy as well as the kits mother Cloverheart. Blazenose thought it would be an excellent job for her to do given her heightened interest with Cloverheart's twins.

Lavenderleaf burst into the nursery with a bright smile on her face and shrill greeting to the residents inside, "Good morning everycat and kit!! How are we all doing today?"

The young she-cat bounded out into the clearing, looking for the deputy. For some reason, said deputy was gone. Worried, Shiverthorn opened her mouth and tasted the air. Definitely here a bit ago.. And is that fear? Worry even stronger now, she attempted to follow her deputy's scent. Soon enough, she came to a stream. And next to that stream.. was Finchpelt.

Lilystar glanced behind her as she heard Lavenderlwad. "Good morning," she replied to the medicine cat, tail flicking. Ears flicked, she got up. "Excuse me please, I'm going to hunt, " she murmured, exiting out of the nursery and looked for her deputy.

Sweetnose pressed up against his mate in response. "I love you." He said it all the time, but was it really a phrase that a cat could say to much? His mother would tell him every night, sing him off to sleep with the murmurs of I love you I love you I love you. The elder smiled to himself, remembering Agatewhisper. She had been a wonderful mother and all Sweetnose had ever wanted to do was to treat his kits like she had treated him. He hoped he had succeeded.

The tom was shaken out of his memory-filled daze by the sun. The glowing orb had it in mind to blind him he reckoned, not that going blind would slow him down. "I love you Rosetail, but I bet I can eat a fish quicker than you!" He prodded her side mischievously and scampered off towards the prey-pile, sparing a "Good morning!" to the congregation of cats as he did so.

bramblingflower watched as the medicine cat apprentice rushed past her and into the nursery. lavenderleaf's silly demeanor brought a smile to the queen's face; the small female always knew how to make others smile. "shh!" bramblingflower murmured quietly, holding back a giggle of her own, "they're still sleeping!"
