Jadeheart left Ravensong bewildered, for the tired queen had only caught about half of what she had said. The few things that stuck out were 'Rainkit', 'hawk', and 'watch the kits'. The queen looked over and saw the frightened kits, her tired eyes immediately shifting to sympathy. Whatever had happened, the kits must have had quite a fright. "Come here, little ones." She mewed, pulling them all beside her own tiny bundles. She licked each of their heads in turn, giving them each calming reassurance. "Everything will be okay..." She soothed, trying to keep all of the kits warm and secure. "You're okay... Jadeheart will come back soon..." She murmured, hoping that she could provide at least some small comfort to the frightened kits.

I'm trying to show you that I care about you but you completely ignore everything I say! It's different for nothing to work than to not want to be saved. And from what I'm seeing, you're definitely the latter. Let someone in to help you. Until you do, there's nothing any cat can do." Blossompaw took a deep breath after her little speech, raising her tail and turning to walk away.

Rainkit is in safe paws now, and I'm sure he would want you to carry on." Shadowcast sucked at comforting cats, and was beginning to fear that his words would only make the kit more upset.
