Nettleburr gave out an amused snort. "Maybe Softwillow has a little crush on Soulpaw. Or Soulpaw on her." He chuckled, thinking of all the possibilities.

She gave him a weird look, "Softwillow is a bit old for him, dont'ja think?"

Sandcloud was waiting outside the warriors den, keeping an eye out for Foxtuft. Anticipation was fizzing in her paws, as she had big news for her mate.

Nettleburr shrugged. "Softwillow had a crush on Redpaw, and he was about fifteen moons older." He sighed as he remembered the dark russet tom. "I still can't believe he died with the paw suffix." Nettleburr flicked an ear, his eyes closing. The tortoiseshell had been with the clan of cats since they were in the marsh territory, even though he was quite young.

Foxtuft was out on a patrol, his ginger and white fur shimmering as he walked through the orange and red leaves of autumn, the white beaming like a star in a scarlet sky. he took a glance down at Redheart and Shadeheart, glancing around before marking their border. These patrol rules are too much, Smokystar. He thought with a snort, licking his paw while the other cats marked the territorial marks.

Littlesheep blinked, "Uh, anyways.... I'm tired,so I'm going to go take a quick nap before anyone realizes I'm back."

Sandcloud twitched her tail, the suspense of waiting eating at her insides.

"Why? It's not like anybody dying to run over to you and ask you everything about your day." he snorted.

Foxtuft, his ears perked, followed the patrol back to camp form above, taking careful steps on the tree branches. I wonder if Sandcloud is awake. He asked himself, smirking.

She shot a playful glare at him, "Are you saying I'm not fun to be around?"

Sandcloud started to get impatient, her nervous smile turning into a bored grimace,

Nettleburr shrugged. "Depends on who you're asking." He said, a yawn following, the tom's eyes widening in surprise a bit. He didn't seem tired at all.

He leapt down at the entrance of camp, shuffling out his fur, walking in at the very back of the patrol.

Littlesheep rolled her eyes, "I think I'll go take that nap now."

Sandcloud caught his eye, beckoning him over with her tail.

He shrugged, smiling slightly. "Go on, then." He dismissed her playfully, turning and strafing to the side as he walked, looking clumsy.

Foxtuft blinked, confused on the excitement in her eyes as he trotted over, his tail raised in welcome.
