I sit in the corner of camp grooming my black fur.I had fallen earlier and now I was having trouble getting twigs and leaves out of my fur.I sighed as I pulled and pulled on a twig but it refused to come out.
Dovesong
I pad into camp wondering if anyone had missed me when I was gone.I looked around and noticed a bunch of new cats and I started to get a little uneasy and nervous that I might have the wrong clan.

I pad out of the apprentices den and search the camp clearing for any other apprentices wanting something to do.

"Let's Go!" He exclaimed, grabbing Flower by the scruff of her neck. Nightowl was a very large cat, so dragging around another full-grown cat wasn't too hard for him.

I was caught off guard by Mudfeather and hissed and puffed up my fur.I took a step back and hissed again.When I saw it was Mudfeather I flatten my fur and purr "Oh Mudfeather I missed you so much!" I quickly closed the gap between us that I had created "I began to think if I stayed out there any longer I would've died without you!"
