Wooly staired at him, disbelieving. Was it really him? Was Arcade really here? "Arcade? Is, is that really you?" she mewed, blue-ish eyes glazed over and shiny with the small fever that she had. She hadn't even noticed the birds, only the tom that stood before her. In the days he'd been gone, she'd become just about nothing. Lapping at the frost that lay on the ground in front of her to stay hidrated. Arcade was more to her than she'd realized.

Arcade lied down in front of her “Yes,it's Arcade;Wooly eat these birds.You need them”

The deliud tortishell studied him for heartbeats more before rushing forward, burying her face in his shoulder fur. "Where have you been Arcade?" she sobbed quietly, taking comfort and shelter in him. She'd missed him, much more than she could comprehend.

Sorreldash gently nudged his shoulder.
"I'm glad you do." She nodded. "Yeah, there's always going to be heart break. But there will always be your family there for you, no matter what." She licked his ear gently in affection. "Then I will help you, Tigerclaw. Your like a brother to me. And you helped me." Her whiskers twitched in sadness, as if about to burst into tears. "You helped me with Russetkit."

He nuzzled her side softly, "He was going to make a wonderful warrior." He reassured her softly, "I was going to be proud to mentor him." He murmured softly.

Sorreldash nodded in his comfort as he reassured her.
"Yes, with your help." Her eyes looked straight into Tigerclaw's. "And now, I'm going to do what friends do; return a helpful favor." Her eyes melted back to their familiar happiness. "I will help you with Stonekit. If Hollyclaw has her kits, and they try to call you father; we couldn't stop that. But then, I'd have achieved the title of Auntie; and they would have to call me so."
She lightly giggled, eyes glinting in humor.
"But either way, I'll still help you, no matter what happens. Even in StarClan, I will still help you, Tigerclaw."

Tigerclaw purred brightly at that, "Thank you SOrreldash." He murmured as he gently shoved his shoulder into her side.

Wolfpaw sighed. Her mentor surely was tricky.
Scoping about, the apprentice padded towards the stream, her original destination. There, no kits could annoy her, and no elders could bother her.
But her venture served further purpose; to find a cat with a stunning black pelt, one that wasn't her mentor.

Wolfpaw heard it as she walked, and she smiled. A rustle in the bushes brought her back into reality. She didn't ask for who was there, but when she saw who it was, her eyes lighted.
"Duskpaw!" She purred, running towards him.
