Amberheart turned her head. "Good-bye!" She called to Nightsplash. She then turned her head back and ate.

Wolfclaw laughed. "We are coming!"

Nightsplash nodded and smiled.

Rainwhisper looked over to Amberheart. He didn't say anything for awhile, just looked at her. "So, you feeling okay?" he finally asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

[SingTheRain]

"Well, you know, when we went on patrol to the meadow, you seemed kind of, well, upset," Rainwhisper said akwardly. He didn't want to make her even more upset.

"It is very hard for me. Goldenflower was my best friend. She and I had gone through everything together. We fought together and hunted together. She was like my sister. And when she died, it tore me apart." Amberheart said.

[SingTheRain]

Rainwhisper nodded. "I know how you feel. Remember Oakpaw? He and I were like brothers during training. But then he was trying to keep that dog away from the nursery..." his voice trailed off and he couldn't finish. He looked away for a minute, but then looked back. "It'll get better," he mewed quietly, running his tail down Amberheart's back.

Amberheart twined his tail with her's. She laid her head next to his neck.

Rainwhisper felt his face get hot. He almost jerked back with surprise, but stayed still. He stared for a second, then relaxed and purred.

Forestlight and Mosspelt crept up on a mouse, using the same technique they used for all hunting training. Forestlight dove forward and the mouse raced in Mosspelt's paws. He caught it and bit it's neck.

Flickerheart was playing with a leaf, batting a it, concentrating on keeping it in the air. Sometimes, she loved when she could just relax and act a kit again.
