Caspia looks sideways and spots Echo and Sarki. She wants to go over to them, or call to them but hangs back. She feels separated, alone...

Echo saw Caspia well he thought he did as he nuzzled Sarki

Caspia quickly changes her colour to a normal gray. She could be any old horse now...She turns and canters away, tears in her eyes.

Caspia shifts into a black fox, and bolts over the landscape. She slinks into the undergrowth, shaking. She curls up into a ball, and Shakes. She closes her eyes, and takes a deep breath.

"I want to be Alpha one day. When I am older, I think you should pick me as Beta." She said.
