thunderclaw stood and padded out. he went to where shadowclaw was and slowly entered the den. "spiderpaw sent me regarding the kits." he said standing tall and strong.

Shadowclaw turned slowly from Lillypool to Thunderclaw unsure of what to say. "The kits need milk but other than that I believe they are fine." He said turning back to look at the kits guessing that would be the information Spiderweb wanted to know.

"spiderweb suggested either fernleaf or sparrowwing nurse them. with all due respect lillystar, you have kits on the way, they will need milk too. and the kits just arent getting enough. but, would that be alright with you two that the kits are nursed by one of those two?" he aked confidently.

[Wintaria]

Bluekit stared at the 2 newcats. She recognized the fresh smell of Lilystar, but the other one smelled like musty forest, and lightly of other kits...[general warrior smell, along with the Nursery]

thunderclaw glanced down at the kits. he smiled seeing bluekit. he quickly turned his attention back to the task at hand.

rosekit yawned and stretched. she carefully and slowly began to open her eyes. she pulled them and pulled them, millimeter by millimeter till they were open. she felt a cold rush of air on her eyes and snapped them shut. she opened her eyes again. she saw darkness. she knew her eyes were copen, she could feel the air. but yet she could see nothing. she squeaked and blinked her eyes. she looked up at her mother, revealing her pale blue, clouded eyes. rosekit was blind.

Bluekit wandered closer until she was at his feet. Standing on her back legs, she pushed on one of his forelegs, feeling the fur under her delicate freezing toes.

Shadowclaw looked down at Bluekit with a smile picking her up and bringing her back to the other kits before licking her head lightly not wanting her to freeze. "I believe that may be the only choice for their sake." He said knowing that they would need milk one way or another although he wished that Dapplelight could be the one to nurse them.

Bluekit heard her father's mew, then turned. He picked her up by the scruff, and her senses went numb. Next she knew she was back with her siblings, and had a damp forehead. She wiped off the wet stuff, then shook. I'm big enough to care for myself... Then she jumped. She'd never heard THIS voice before. But it felt like part of her. She did it again, thoroughly amused with her thoughts.

thunderclaw nodded his head. "I agree." he said watching him put bluekit back with the others. somehow he felt connected to bluekit.
he turned to shadowclaw again. "I shall talk to sparrowwing about the matter tonight." he said standing to leave. he thought about lillystar's decision of the next deputy. in a sense he felt fit for the job. but in another, he felt that you had to earn your place with starclan. " whoever gets the position will be the best for the job." he thought walking out and going to the nursery.

[Limerence]

"Uh, sure, Thunderclaw. Okay." Lillystar meowed, as she began to pad out of Dapplelight's den without another word. She sniffed the air before catching Froststorm's scent (assuming that he is back in Lillystar's den). "Thunderclaw does not see me fit to nurse Dapplelight's kits." She said, very forward. "It doesn't matter, I just thought I should tell you why I was back so early..." Lilly added. "Either way I should go..." She said, knowing that she should be watching the Clan's progress.
