Fernleaf layed her head down, blinking her eyes. She yawned, letting her kits nurse. "They're getting big, they'll be eating soild food soon." She closed her eyes a few minutes later, doozing off.

Shadowclaw woke quickly raising his head as he heard the kits mewing. He jumped up quickly moveing the kits together back into the center of the nest. He curled up around them knowing that the cold wind was to much for their thin pelts before turning to look at the entrance hopeing someone would come to check on the kits soon afraid to leave them alone in the den.

Fernleaf clawed the ground in her sleep, like she was running from something.

[Mudsplash has returned and is back with Spiderweb and Nighttail, Dapplelight's kits are hungry again, and spiderweb is takeing care of Dapplelight's body. I think that is it.]

spiderweb smiled seeing her bodies rection to the venom. "okay, Honeypaw... one last thing. go gat me a vole." he said walking back over to the venom bowl.

thunderclaw smelled an unfimiliarncat and looked around. he saw nighttail sitting in the camp and padded up to her. "who do i smell?" he asked. nighttail turned with bright eyes "mudsplash is back! she exclaimed. "hes with spiderweb. id love to ge see him but i dont want to crowd the den..." she trailed off. thunderclaw needed to talk to spiderweb anout his dream. "perhapse we should go." he suggested. nighttail hesitated but got up and followed him to the den. she endered and sat purring next to mudsplash. she watched her son work.

seeing thunderclaw spiderweb remembered. "oh, dapplelights kits... they need milk." he said looking to thunderclaw. thunderclaw sat down. "i could ask sparrowwing if she could help..." he said looking at mudsplash then to spiderweb. they were clearly kin.

Mudsplash watched Spiderweb work for a few moments until he heard pawsteps,then two cats entered the den.He felt Nighttail's fur brush against his and he smiled.

"I'm so happy youre back... but where is sparkledrop..." she said hoping for the best but knowing it was unlikely that she was okay,

"perfect, " he said smiling. he took the vole and pured a small ammount of venom in its mouth. he laid the vole on a leaf and put his paw on it, adding weight every few seconds till he knew the insides were brocken down. he then took leaves from a holy bush, careful not to be pricked, he rubbed the oil on the voles coat so it would slide right down her throat. he walked over and called for honeypaw. "honey, please come and hold her head up, i need her slanted." he said carefully picking up the vole.

He took the vole and cut a line on its back and pulled its spine and most of its ribs out. his lips were bloodstained now and he took the vole and put it into her mouth. sucessfully, it slid down her throat and into her stomach. "Yes!" he said exitedly. in a flurry of exitement he licked honeypaws cheek. as soon as he did so, his eyes widened and he stepped back shyly.
