Willowstorm stared in shock at her leader's dead body, a few tears sliding down her cheeks. She and a few cats had found her while out on a hunting patrol, but it was too late. The female deputy wanted to scream out in agony. She was the next leader, but how could she lead a clan that was already falling apart? Willowstar touched her nose to Antstar's forehead, letting a single last tear roll down her cheek before turning away to face her clan. There were only six of them left and one of them was a murderer. Would they choose correctly this time?

Beavertail walked back into camp a limp squirrel in his mouth. He had been using hunting as a way to distract himself from all the deaths happening around him. After dropping off his squirrel he spotted Galecloud. His heart clenched painfully, "H-Hey. How are you... doing?" That was a stupid question. Obviously she was doing terribly.

Time by time everyone was dying and no one seemed to have any clue who the murderer(s) is. Dawnpaw had been tired of the on going executions which he had participated, but he still felt no guilt. He padded outside of his den and went for a stroll, after all this might be his last walk.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Beavertail enter camp. She hadn't even realized he'd left, she had been so distracted. Willowstar was concerned for all of her clanmates, but Galecloud in particular. The devastated queen had been traumatized by the events of the past few days. Padding over to the fresh-kill pile, Willowstar picked up the squirrel Beavertail had just deposited and carried it over to Galecloud. The leader made a mental note to go hunting later if she was even still alive by then, but first things first. "You need to eat to keep your strength," Willowstar murmured softly, nudging the squirrel closer towards the queen. She herself hadn't eaten for a while but even in desperate times the queens and kits always came first.

Sneezecloud stumbled out of the warrior's den, and took the time to look around the clearing. 'There's six of us left,' he thought, as he observed some of his clanmates moving through camp. 'And if Breezefire isn't the murderer, then who is?' Sneezecloud took the time to stretch his legs. 'There's nothing we've even been able to do to stop them," he continued. 'We're just hurting ourselves.' Sighing, he walked out of camp, not really feeling like talking to anyone. Maybe he should go swimming. That would be nice.
