Lillypool nodded, with an unsure look on her face before turning back to Froststorm. She tucked her head under his neck, and began to purr.

he left the den and followed the scent of mud to the marsh

Froststorm smiled licking the tip of her ears as he listened to her purr. "Is something wrong?" He asked haveing noticed the look on her face.

Lillystar's ears twitched as Froststorm licked them. "Well, nothing much, it's just...The whole deputy thing..." She meowed, nuzzling her muzzle deeper into Froststorm's chest.

spiderweb stepped carefully through the trees. the darkness had fallen around him and he was being led by scent alone. as he walked the darkness became easy to see in. the ground beneath his feet became muddy and wet. he stopped a moment, the tall reeds swaying around him. the night sky was clearly visible and with the help of a full moon, he could see his surroundings. a large open marsh surrounded him. he was barracaded in by trees on all sides. his paws were wet and muddy but the brown of his fur made it un noticable. "now to find a snake..." he sighed thinking of the difficulty at hand. " hmmm.... they see by heat and movement... i could... how about i put kill small vole...thats sounds delicous right now... and sit on a low branch in a tree... yes! i could move it about with one of the dead reeds! good. so... a vole..." he began sniffing the air for a vole.

Froststorm nodded slowly understanding how hard it must be to make a decision on who should be deputy. "I am sure your choice will be the right one." He said purring as he felt her nuzzling into his chest.

Daisykit woke up.She stretched and walked out of the queens den.She walked toward the fresh kill pile and grabbed a mouse.She sat down outside the queens den and munched on the mouse while pondering her dream.

((okay, a cat must be a warrior for a certain amout of time to get an apprentice. it wouldnt happen the same day they became a warrior because they havent got enough experience to train an apprentice also, its up to lillystar who becomes who's mentor, amd its nighttime. thunderclaw has beeen a warrior for a very long time now and he doesnt even have an apprentice..))

spiderweb crouched low and stepped through the mud. his paws were wet and it was hard to be stealthy in the squishy mud so he spread out his paws and set each one down on top of the mud. at least now his feet werent making noise. he looked up ahead and there sat a plump vole, rummaging through some leaves. " yes!" he thought victoriously. he crept up behind it carefully setting his paws down. slowly and silently he came behind it and SNAP! he bit into its spine . he took the vole and carried it over to a tree theat had a very low laying branch. he placed the vole at the bottom and looked around, quickly spotting a long reed. he bit the reed off the plant and jumped into the tree. "okay... here we are. now i just have to move this little guy around." he thought. he began poking and moving the vole, waiting for a snake to come by. the marsh was full of snakes.
