Layla.
The tiny, sleek figure darted across an alley way, sticking to the shadows. Her large, deep blue eyes blinked once, then gave the dead end a sweeping glance. Perfect. There was tons of stuff dumped here, with lots of crevices to hide in, as well as up high areas to spy on anyone that dared enter here. Couches, crates, beds, lams, cargo, old food. You name it. To humans, it was disgusting, a heap of dump. But to an alley cat like Layla, this was luxury at it's highest. She allowed a brief, cold smile, before any emotion was wiped from her place. Her senses going overload, she slunk carefully and silently into the heap. A shrill, piercing scream rang up into the air for a matter of milliseconds, before it was muffled, and then promptly silenced. Moments later, Layla backed out of the hole she had entered, the scruff of a dead tomcat in her mouth. She pulled him to the very edge of the alleyway, shoving him out onto the pavement. Humans would get rid of him sooner or later. And if not, a dog. She wrinkled her nose at the dead black heap of fur before her, then turned quickly on heel and slithered back into her domain. Springing neatly onto a stack of crates, she made her way to the very top of the junk pile, which just so happened to be an old leather chair coveredby drapes and blankets. Crawling underneath, the tiny silver cat dissapeared from view to the world. This was now her territory, and anyone who dared threaten her or it would surely pay the price.
it's been a long time since I've been here. perhaps I'll stay awhile.
