Flickerheart looked at her old apprentice, wishing she had another one. Kinkfur and stripeclaw sat in the sun, leaning against eachother.

Wolfclaw looked at the two new warriors. "I would be delighted if you two came."

Amberheart grabbed a mouse. She laid down, not far from Rainwhisper and Nightsplash.

Rainwhisper, with his mouth full, motioned with his tail to Amberheart. Nightsplash nodded and smiled.

Waterpaw sat up. She was going to hunt again! And she would catch as much as she could, and not cry over what she killed. "Can I come too?"

Hawksky nodded. "Its fine with me. I'm sure its okay with Wolfclaw too. I'll be staying here." Hawksky sat down and began grooming his whiskers.

"Sure!" Wolfclaw repiled.

Amberheart smiled and walked over to Nightsplash and Rainwhisper. She sat down next to them.

"You hungry?" Rainwhisper asked Amberheart. "I can't finish this." He nodded toward his half-eaten piece of prey.

Waterpaw got up and followed Wolfclaw out of the camp. Her whiskers twitched with anticipation. Her claws flexed,eager to catch something. She raced ahead of Wolfclaw and stopped by a bush. "Come on! Are you guys gonna take forever?" Most of her spunk was coming back.

Amberheart nodded her head. "Thanks." She said with a sweet smile.

Rainwhisper smiled back. He was happy Amberheart had decided to eat with them, even if she had been invited.

Nightsplash stood up. "I'm going to see about a border patrol," he said, walking toward the entrance.
