Swiftstar watched as Bramblewhisker approached. The she-cat could see the pain in his eyes. Oh no... Her eyes narrowed as she watched the tom. "Bramblewhisker." She frowned. "What happened to her?" The black and white she-cat glanced behind the medicine cat, attempting to peek into the den. "I'll announce a meeting once the first patrol returns. We'll have a vigil tonight." A heavy sigh escaped her mouth. Tanglewhsisker had been a valuable member of this clan.

"And now it seems as though Tanglwhisker has passed on to Starclan?" The lean cat turned his head, attempting to locate where Bramblewhisker had gone.

Echosong trotted over to the camp entrance, herding the apprentices along, “Alright, let’s get going. Whoever is not ready is staying in camp.” She meowed, stopping beside Hawkfrost. She was eager to get out into the forest, the camp was begging to feel stifling and even something as ordinary as a border patrol offered a bit of reprieve.

The news of Tanglewhisker's death hit Robincall like a lumbering badger. The she-cat had been in the clan for as long as he could remember. He sighed sadly, gazing down at his paws. One 'paw blind, one elder dead, what is next Starclan? he thought helplessly.

As Swallowpaw walked up to Sandpaw, she felt herself shy away from his presence. What am I doing? she thought, Pull yourself together! she told herself. "Hi Swallowpaw!" She mewed excitedly, trying not to show her anxiousness. Her tail twitched and move back and forth impatiently. She wondered if they would start moving soon, looking quickly up at Echosong and Hawkfrost. Sandpaw faced Swallowpaw again, but couldn't find the courage to look him in the eye. Her eyes found themselves at her sandy paws as she awaited his reply.

☞CROWPAW watched with murky green eyes as the patrols set off on their tests, half of them resting while the other half headed out to survey the borders. The bright young tom couldn't help but let his coat puff up as a slight twinge of jealousy blossomed in his heart. The apprentice had been stuck in camp all day awaiting an appearance from Cursedecho, his patience growing thin and his paws itching for some form of practice. With an unsatisfied huff, the dark tabby took one more lap around the camp in search of his mentor who had mysteriously disappeared. Crowpaw poked his large head into every nook and cranny he could find, frustration building as he returned again and again empty pawed.

☞HAWKFROST glanced over towards Echosong as his fellow warrior approached, giving the she-cat a small nod of recognition. Finally, the patrol could get under way. Without a second thought, the large flame-pelted tom began the descent down the tunnel and into the forest. Presuming the rest of the cats were hard on his paws, the young warrior kept his green eyes locked in front of him, keenly searching for any potential threat or anything out of the ordinary. Once further away from the camp, Hawkfrost slowed from a brisk walk to a steadier one, his long strides even and purposeful. He quietly noted the sun beginning its journey below the horizon as it gave off its last strong flickers of brilliant orange light. "Shall we head through the forest or the moor first?" he called out to the cats behind him, finally turning around to acknowledge them. Green gaze dragging across each cat, he noted silently the way that Sandpaw and Swallowpaw interacted.

Swallowpaw padded up to Sandpaw his eyes gleaming. "H-hey Sandpaw, how's it going?" He asked trying to sound as casual as possible but then realising he sounded really dumb. A burst of embarrassment shot to his head. Nice going, whats she gonna think about you now! But Sandpaw wasn't the type of she-cat that would tease. He looked into her eyes and chuckled slightly. He padded along side her out of camp trying to think of things to say. His fur brushed hers now running with Hawkfrost in the lead.

Tanglewhisker is within the hunting grounds of starclan with Adderwhisp. She looks upon Airclan camp and sees everything is okay.
She turned to face Adderwhisp "So when you said 'I'll see you soon' you meant like this?" She mocked happily her starlit fur twinkling
