From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Cricketpaw. Your mentor will be Embersky. I hope Embersky will pass down all she knows on to you. Embersky, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Diamondfang, and you have shown yourself to be clever and intelligent. You will be the mentor of Cricketpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." He smiled lightly as the new apprentice greeted her mentor, then his eyes swung to Cricketpaw's sister. "[b]"Flamingkit," he said, "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Flamingpaw. Your mentor will be Cootrunner. I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you. Cootrunner, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Graniteslip," his voice catches in his throat, but Puddlestar manages to hide it well. "and you have shown yourself to be kind and quick-thinking. You will be the mentor of Flamingpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her."

Eveningleaf twitched her ears at Puddlestar's call. She stayed in her den, gathering traveling herbs together for the journey to Moonpool later that night. "Hawkpaw?" she mewed, "We're leaving once the meeting's done." As Puddlestar named the new apprentices, she cheered. "Cricketpaw! Flamingpaw! Cricketpaw! Flamingpaw!"

Me? A mentor? She purred in pride, padding over to Flamingkit- no, Flamingpaw, and touching noses with the new apprentice. "We'll be the best mentor/apprentice duo in the clan!" She says softly to her.

When he heard that Cootrunner will be Flamingpaw's mentor a smile covered his face.The tom managed,after more tries, to stay on his back legs and then he began calling how loud he could."FLAMINGPAW!FLAMINGPAW!CRICKETPAW!"After a second of calling he fell on his back,the position he was before not giving much balance.

"Oh, dear Starclan!" thought Embersky. She walked up to touch noses with her new apprentice. She was purring and smiling. She kept thinking about how glad she was to be a mentor, the closest thing to having her own kit she knew. "Let's go, Cricketpaw" she said.

The large tom, also know as Leopardheart was walking around the borders of the large crowd as puddlestar was calling out new apprentices. He flicked his tail slightly as each were givena new name. He remebered the day he became a warrior himself, Leopardheart, a name truly fit for the brave tom.

Ambersplash nodded excitedly and called the new apprentices' names. "Cricketpaw! Flamingpaw! Cricketpaw! Flamingpaw!"

After the grouped cats began to disperse, Ambersplash padded to the warriors' den and sat right outside.

Flamingpaw quivered in excitement, shaking as she touched noses with Cootrunner. Cricketpaw's eyes glimmered happily up at Embersky. The two littermate's chest puffed out in pride as they heard their clanmates calling out their new names, Soaringbird being one of the loudest.

"Are we going to go see the territory now?!" Flamingpaw squeaked, looking up at Cootrunner once Puddlestar said that the meeting was over. The white apprentice kneaded the ground with her paws, her flame-ginger tail lashing back and forth.

"Yeah, can we go too?!" Cricketpaw chirped, looking at Embersky, her black and white pelt bushing up.


Rustpaw smiled, calling out the she-cats' new names before turning to Vixenpaw. "This is great! We'll have more cats to train with!"

"Err.." Said Embersky. "Uh, yes! Definitely!" Her pelt felt warmer. "I'm like a mentor apprentice! I hope I can get better.." she thought. "Alright, Cricketpaw! Let's go. We'll wait for a few more of the new apprentices and mentors first though."

The tom bounded up to Flamingpaw."Good job!" He gave her a charming smile." I think StarClan listened to your wish of having Cootrunner as a mentor." He sat down and waited for the she-cat to answer.

Cricketpaw nodded eagerly, her green eyes glimmering with excitement. "This is going to be great!" She squealed, hopping around Embersky, her long tail sticking straight up in the air.

Flamingpaw shot her sister an amused look before looking at Hawkpaw, purring loudly. "I was surprised that I actually got Cootrunner as my mentor but I'm really glad I did. She's the best." She mewed, looking over when she noticed Eveningleaf seemed to be wanting Hawkpaw. "Are you leaving?" She mewed sadly.
