He gave a sickening grin. With Father dead, mother dead and Pebblestep dead, what did he have left to do?
"I'm just an old friend of Pebblesteps." He hissed. He looked at the claws threatening his throat.
"Kill me if you want. Realise your stress! Mutilate me! Who cares. I'll be grinning the whole way through. I've got what I want." He cackled, lashing his tail.

Hopstep:;
He stared blankly at the thin, black body. Blood around his neck... Who would do this? Killing a cat during sleep? The stick still remained in the Warriors den. Hopstep stood up to pick it up. He carried it to Ravenstar.
"This was a murder." He cried. "This was used to silence him." He growled, sickened. He dropped the stick beside his crush, and sat down next to her.

She stared at the stick for a while before dipping her head."StarClan will punish who did this. Lets just hope PebbleStep will find peace in StarClan." She sighed sadly, staring at the warriors body.

Ivyvine snarled, then said " If you're an old friend, then Pebblestep can visit you in the Dark Forest!" She slashed his throat, and snarled again. What would the Clan tell Arrowpaw? Everyone knew that She liked Pebblestep. She snarled again, then saw that red drops of blood were coming out of the slashes she made to the cat's throat.

He laughed, half gargling as blood sprayed across his face.
"Dark forest? You know, I wonder how dark things are there!" He laughed to himself. He sighed gently.
"Ah, no. Pebblestep was my brother, you silly kitty!" He chuckled.

Ivyvine glared at him, then said " What a horrible brother you were then." She snarled again, and then padded off, leaving the wretched cat to die. Her paws were lightly stained with the murderers blood when she got to camp, and she said " That horrible cat is gone. To the Dark Forest." She padded over to Pebblestep's dead body, then whispered " Your death has be avenged."

As he died, his smile remained. His eyes flickered. He fell limp.

Hopstep:;
He was silent, pressing his nose to Pebblestep.
"Atleast you got your nap..."
