He guessed he couldn't of just ran off, so he was almost certain this was a ambush. He looked all around trying to spot his mentor but he was unsuccessful. He also tried to smell him out, but his scent stopped at the bushes.

He kept his body close to the ground with his head down to protect his belly and throat. He watched swiftclaw closely and waited for him to make his next move.

The brown warrior stared at the brown spotted she-cat under the bush, her tail was sticking out and he slightly growled. He sniffed the air 'this isn't a hopeclan cat' he thought and he emerged from the bushes, but showed no hostility. He was going to tell her to leave before he was forced to scare her away.
