He leapt to his paws, and waved good-bye to his friends as he led Bloodstar towards the water "Alright. For most water creatures you don't really have to hunt for them, unless your looking for seagulls." He meowed, motioning to the sky where a dozen white birds flew above them, squawking and landing occasionally to snatch a grab off the beach "The main food we get off the beach is oysters, clams, and crabs. Also seagulls when they land." He meowed "Crabs can defend themselves, as you saw already, and oysters and clams hide themselves in hard shells" He meowed "You can also get fish in tide pools" He meowed, and trotted down the beach to where a tide pool lay. many mall fish were swimming inside it, and a smaller starfish moved very slowly along the wall of it.

Snowstar

She trotted behind Tiger, a small smile on her face.

Bloodstar listened carefully, there was a lot to learn. She looked down at the small fish and a smile found a way to her face. "What is this place called? " She asked, her eyes not leaving the fish.

Tiger led her towards the shore. "You already met the crab," the Tom laughed, "But you haven't seen the oysters or clams." He picked up a small shell. "If you can open these you'll find a meat inside. But not everyone likes the taste of texture."

"Yep." The silver cat mewed. Splash Walked to a little tide pool on the beach. "This is a A tide pool." She mewed. to Deadlight.

Dash

"This little pool that the fish is in is called the Tide-Pool. This is a small dip in the beach with rocks and everything, as you can see. When the water reaches all the way up here, and fills this little pool, small creatures and animals get washed into it" He meowed "Its a good source of food if your hungry" He purred, his whiskers twitching as he watched her gaze at the pool.

Snowstar

She shuddered as he mentioned Crab, but didn't really shy away from it as one scuttled by. She then stopped when the tom picked up an oyster or clam; she couldn't tell which one was which. She sniffed it "It doesn't smell that bad. Do you know how to get it open?" She asked "Any special ways or tricks?"

Tiger grinned and carried the shell over to a large rock. He looked around for a smaller rock. "I typically just hit it open with a rock." Tiger meowed simply.

Bloodstar laughed, "You already told me that. I mean like- we live in the forest and this is...?" She waited for a reply; tearing her eyes away from the pool.

"Oh errr…" He said, his tail bobbing up and down in slight embarrassment. He honestly didn't really understand, but he offered his thoughts anyways "This is where the seabirds live. Its really rocky over there somewhere" He pointed with his tail to were sharper rocks and a small cliff slopped upwards.

So far its been called the Sun drown placem she wouldn't know to call it the beach.)
Bloodstar chuckled, "Alright then..." She looked back at the fish. "How do you catch these fish?"

He offered a lopsided smile, and looked down at the fish "Well there isn't really anywhere they can hide, the pool is very small" He meowed "So I just usually dunk my head in" He meowed, and saw a small fish swim lazily by, and he dunked his head in the pool, snatching the small fish in his jaws.

Snowstar

"Oh. Well thats easy enough" She meowed cheerfully "Is there anything else you can get on this sandy place?" She asked, looking around

Deadlight nodded and stuck his paw in swiping at the creatures inside. A chuckle escaped his maw after every fail.

Bloodstar laughed, "That looks silly." She wrapped her tail around her paws.

Tiger looked around. "We have the seagulls. But they're much harder to catch. " He meowed. "Especially if you don't have a good pelt that camouflages with your surroundings."
