Frostclaw approached Rivershade. Frostclaw knew he had been in the dream with him, along with many others. "Two from each clan.." he muttered quietly as he realized that two cats from each of the clans had been in the dream too. Frostclaw blinked the light rain out of his eyes and stared at the tom. "Did you see it?" he asked quietly, sure to not wake any other cats.

I nod to the tom, looking blindly at him. My clouded pupils eyed the Shadeclan tom's scent. "Yes," I wispered to Frostclaw quietly. Squinting my eyes into the rain, I asked, "What was it?"

-- Runningpaw fidgeted in her sleep as the prophetic dream crept into her mind. In the vision, she was standing in a field that looked as if ten Clans had fought to their deaths there. Countless wolves were present, holding their heads high with arrogance and anticipation of a coming victory. Fortunately, it was as if the apprentice was invisible; the wolves did not turn their attention to her. Within a heartbeat, Runningpaw realized that she was standing beside seven other cats; Songbreeze and Gingerspots of StoneClan, Dovecloud and Frostclaw of ShadeClan, Twilightfur, her Clanmate, and finally, Rivershade and Larkpaw of LightningClan.
-- Runningpaw felt a bit better as she realized that she was not the only apprentice. The young she-cat turned her head to the scene unfolding before her, paying attention to every detail, until the prophecy had been told and the dream faded into oblivion.
-- The young she-cat awoke in the WaterClan apprentices' den, her dark brown eyes gleaming in the faint moonlight streaming in. One section stood out particularly; frost running cold, and the great ginger lark. Frostclaw had been in her vision, and 'running' likely referred to Runningpaw. The apprentice could not help but feel a rush of pride -- she had been singled out, chosen with a few other cats, selected from the vast population of the Clans. However, Larkpaw was not particularly ginger. It took her a moment to realize that perhaps 'ginger' was not a descriptive word, but it referred to Gingerspots; the same way 'running' was not an action, but referred to Runningpaw herself.
-- The part preceding that line -- the soft dove's song, twilight over the river's shores -- Runningpaw did not understand at all. The memories were losing their finer details, so she could not recall the other cats there besides herself, Larkpaw, Gingerspots, Frostclaw, and Twilightfur. Still in a sleepy daze, Runningpaw could not put the remaining pieces together, as she seriously required rest. By now the prodigy had thought long and hard, and despite the fact that she was normally very intelligent, she was exhausted and fell back asleep.

~Gingerspots shook herself awake. "The Great Ginger Lark. Gingerspots!" She whispered. She wondered if anybody else had the dream. How could I be in a prophecy? I'm, mean! She thought. Then it hit her. Maybe being a savior somehow will change her life, and make her friendly! Maybe...........
~She got out of her nest and stalked to the apprentice's den. She had noticed they said the word Running in one of the quotes. Then she peeked through the den and saw Runningpaw go to sleep. "Runningpaw?" she whispered quietly hoping she was still awake.

-- Runningpaw blinked open her eyes, feeling as if her very pupils would burn from lack of sleep. She was a growing apprentice, for StarClan's sake. The black she-cat rolled over lazily, not wanting to do anything but rest, but eventually her diligent and hardworking personality took over and she forced herself to face the cat. In the dim light, Runningpaw's stinging eyes could barely make out the outline of a she-cat with a long-furred tail, and her sense of smell wasn't working due to a stuffy nose. Something at the back of her mind told Runningpaw that it was one of the cats from the dream, so she assumed it was her Clanmate.
-- The raven-furred apprentice faced Gingerspots and addressed her with the incorrect name. "Yes, Twilightfur? Did you want to discuss the dream, because we were both in it, and well, I'm probably not going to be able to fall asleep adequately tonight..."

Gingerspots giggled faintly. "It's Gingerspots. Shh. I don't think anybody should know about the dream. I mean, Nobody!" she warned cautiously. "Why don't we....go somewhere else. I'd like to talk about the dream a little more." she said quietly, but not much of a whisper.

I looked over my shoulder. Giving a sniff, I scented two she cats. Narrowing my eyes, I stared at their voices. I knew it was dark, but I couldn't see anyway. And I knew the moon was shining in my blinded eyes, but I ignored it. Creeping silently up to the two she cats, I recognized them as Gingerspots and Runningpaw. My clouded pupils stared in their direction as I mewed, "Psst!" I hissed quietly to them, "Are you talking about.. the dream..?"

Gingerspotsa jumped at Rivershade. "Yeah, you were in it too?" she asked quietly. (WB and WIP, I gottqa say something else, but I gotta eat dinner.)
