Thornpaw woke up from his small nap, stretching his front legs and in sheathing his claws. "Hello Tinypaw," he called over to the black and white apprentice, padding over next to her and chuckling. "Looking for someone?" He asked, standing up proud and stern teasingly.

"Shut up!" Tinypaw hissed playfully, leaping at him and pinning him.

Thornpaw laughed and squirmed out of Tinypaw's grip, standing up and grinning at the she-cat. "Alright, I'll be quiet. But who are you really looking for?"

"Splashpelt." She replied, shaking out her fur.

"I can help you look for him, if you want." Thornpaw smiled and flicked his tail.

Crookedpaw lay outside the apprentices' den, glancing around camp.

Rainsayer was in her nest, half asleep.

"Nah. I have a idea!" She bounced out of camp, she grabbed a large leaf and coated it with fire ants from a nest and ran back to camp. "Come on." She whispered to him, as she entered their den. She dabbed a few ants into Crookedpaws pelt and dropped the whole leaf in the moss.

Thornpaw smirked and followed the she-cat to the apprentice's den and laughed very quietly. "Good one!"
