Eaglepaw blinked. "Haha, I was just planning on seeing them! I think I'll go see them now." He hopped up, tail wagging. "See you later, Cindermist and Duskpelt!" The fresh, cool air danced across the chocolate lab's fur, and he inhaled the fresh scent, the crisp air leaving a freshness in his lungs. "Fallensnow?" he whispered, peeping inside the medicine den, before spotting her conversing with Daisypup. "Oh, hi Daisypup!" he yelped, then immediately lowered his voice again. "S-sorry, are they sleeping?"

Willowstep nodded in thanks, "Thank you for understanding, I'd be happy to lead" she smiled kindly. "Well, we seem set. If everyone is ready, I'd like to head now, because like you said...it's a few days trip, and it may take longer because of the altered route, so we should get there and back as soon as we can. It wouldn't be safe to leave the pack leaderless and medic-less without us, even though Ashpaw is a good handler" she suggested, looking up at badgerstrike.

Duskpelt watched her jolly apprentice leave, dropping her fake smile. She allowed her skull to rest against his warm welcoming shoulder, exhaling heavily. "I can tell you've lost your appetite, I'm sorry" she apologised. "I don't think I'll be able to get much rest after todays events....they mentioned how our leader was poisoned--and I just can't wrap my head around why-or how" she sighed, a small whimper to her voice as she lowered her muzzle onto her front paws. "Since Willowstep and Badgerstrike are leaving, I'll probably patrol the entrance...I'm too paranoid to even do anything else" she said quietly, looking at the group of canines.

The forced smile fell easily from the large dogs face; he felt bad keeping such an important secret from the pack, but he also would never share a secret he was entrusted with. Cindermist welcomed the comforting gesture, sighing aswell. "Its alright, I wasn't super hungry anyway." He flicked the half eaten meal towards the prey pile with his nose. "I know...today was alot to take in." His ears dropped slightly in a disheartened manner. "Do want some company?" The thought of a patrol to keep his mind busy was certainly appealing, though if she wanted time to think, he could always see what could be done to help the pack.

“I’m going to go tell Fallensnow the news.” Daisypup told her friend. Not wanting to visit her adoptive mother with no prey, the pup went to get a rabbit from the fresh kill pile. She then walked quietly into the nursery. Spotting Fallensnow she dropped the rabbit. “It’s for you. I thought you might be hungry. Badgerstrike is going to be our new leader. And Cindermist is going to be our medicine dog. The pack will be okay now.” She explained. “What’s a moonpool?” She asked curious as she had never heard of it before.

He is watching the clan as the only medicine dog for now when his mentor was going out with Badgerstrike to get his nine lives and rank as a leader.

She lifted her ears over at Eaglepaw when he called for her "Hello Eaglepaw, um yes they are...as still so young pups, they sleep almost all the time" she said to him with a smile "So why did you come here? let me guess you want to know their names right?" she asked at him.

She looked over at Daisypup "well so I've heard" she said to her with a smile, then standing up "let's get out to eat, the weather is so warm that the pups will survive for a while without me by their side" she said moving out of the nursery sitting down near it "Moonpool? Well, it's the place where you can talk with Starpack...in this case, Badgedstrike will go there to have his nine lives to become a full leader of this pack and Cindermist...wait what? you mean she will become a beta, not a medicine dog right?" she said

She was glad that everything seemed a bit more under control, with Badgerstrike agreed as alpha and Cindermist as beta. She looked around to see Badgerstrike talking with Willowpelt and the omegas, while Duskpelt was with Cindermist. Seeing Eaglepaw approach Fallensnow and Daisypup, Emberstorm remembered that she wanted to know how she and her pups were doing. Getting up on her paws, she padded over to them, exchanged a smile, and sat next to Eaglepaw. I also want to know their names!

Eaglepaw nodded excitedly, tail thumping against the green grass. Their names! Oooh, I wonder what they're going to be.. He thought for a second, then gave up on his guessing game. I'm sure they're names will be great. Wow, by the time they're apprentices I'll be a warrior! The thought occurred to him quite suddenly, and it only increased his tail's speed.

Daisypup was as excited as Eaglepaw. That and maybe when she was a warrior she would have one of the pups as an apprentice. At this point her tail was wagging so fast. She was already a good big sister to said pups as she always kept an eye on them. How could she not. They were just so adorable. She smiled as Emberstorm came up. “You want to know the names of the pups as well?” She commented. She looked from the warrior to the apprentice and back to Fallensnow, also wanting to know the names of her siblings.

She sighed as so many dogs walked to see the pups or at last to hear their names "I see you want to heart their names?" she said silently looking toward the two alive pups, as a for the start there were three put the smallest one didn't make it "well the bigger and darker pup is Oreopup, the smaller next to her is Plumpup" she responded.
