Storm followed her, sniffing the air for enemy scents. She walked in a broad circle, marking every other tree with her scent and clawing at the tree to make the scent seep into the wood. She looked to Scarlet with a curious expression. "What's up with you? I love marking the territory! Watching for enemies, warning off trespassers, chasing away dogs who dare to put one paw in your land." She smiled, a wicked grin that showed her fangs. "If one single enemy dog takes a single step into our land, I'll rip their leg off." She wagged her tail, sniffing along the ground. She doubted she'd actually rip a leg off, but she loved to say things like that. She sniffed the air carefully.
"Good. We need as much food as we can get. Try not to catch too many rabbits, though, they don't provide enough energy. Deer, birds, and fish. And if you can find a nest, tell me. Eggs are very good sources of energy." Grim's expression never changed from the mask of caution he wore, his brows furrowed and his muscles tensed.
