She stopped herself from springing after Mousestar. ``I get where you're coming from, Tinyfeather.`` She meowed. ``But I will not step down from my role, nor will I give up my position as Mousestar's mate.``

The Clan leader passed Reedheart during his stress launched flee. He dashed for the ice cold stream in MoonClan territory.

"Then Mousestar must step down as leader!" Moorpaw spoke, trying to hide her identity.

Tinyfeather:
She looks at Ashrunner as she mews. "And what if there is a battle and you are carrying kits?" The she-cat flicks her tail a bit. "You will have to be protected and you wouldn't be able to move as fast as you possibly could." Tinyfeather looks at Moorpaw and flicks her tail. "Mousestar is a great leader, He has lead us through good and bad times."

``Mousestar doesn't have to do anything!`` Ashrunner snapped. ``Are you all so idiotic that you won't listen to your leader's word? Mousebrains, all of you!`` She pounced down, flashing past in pursuit of Mousestar. The tabby turned briefly. ``And I will heal the wounded. I'm a Medicine Cat. I don't need to fight. My kits will be fine.``

"Hello?" Reedheart mews after Mousestar and dashes after him," Wait!" He calls after him, trying to keep up to the pace of Mousestar. He heard few words of the debate and started to wonder about what had been going on to cause a leader to dash off.

[Sunsmoke]

Tinyfeather:
"Ashrunner wait!" The black and white she-cat jumps down as she then looks back. "Oaktail reason with everyone. I want to take Moorpaw and Redfeather with me to go find them. Make sure no one runs off after them or us. We need everyone here and to be reason with. We dont want a quarrel in the clan."

She lashed her tail, skidding to a stop nearby where Reedheart and Mousestar were scented.

Reedheart scented another cat unfamiliar to the scent he had just followed and jolted as he saw a she-cat close by and tensed up, slipping into the river by accident in his attempt to run away.

Ashrunner pelted ahead and leapt in, grasping the tom's scruff in her jaws. ``Idiot!`` She grumbled, paddling against the current.

Mousestar was laying in the stream . Cold. Cold was all he felt around him. Nerves were his weakness. He was a leader, not a queen (nothing against them)
