Snowcloud closed her eyes and searched to see if Ashenpaw was asleep. So, she is.. She smiled and opened her eyes. Climbing down the tree branches, she looked around and found a decent clearing. Using the fog to shroud herself, she pulled Ashenpaw to Dark Forest through her dreams and waited.

Moonpaw flicked her tail slightly, the only sign before her pounce. In a flash, she landed on the vole and dispatched it. She snatched it up in her jaws, making sure it was dead and looked around for Claytail.

Ashenpaw yelped in surprised as she was dragged into the forest. This dream felt realer than it should have felt. Was this one of those prophecy dreams that Whiteleaf had talked about? She started to try and remember what happened in here, planning on telling her mentor when she woke up. She silently sat there, watching the trees around her in fear. This wasn't shadow clan's forest, as far as she could tell.

Claytail walked out of the bushes, smiling. "Good job, you caught it. However, you are lucky it wasn't a cat." He gestured to Moonpaw's tail. "You move your tail before you pounce, try and keep it still, if you can, until you are in the air. You won't make as much movement."

Snowcloud smiled and feigned injury, which was easy. Ashenpaw thought she was dreaming. She limped over to Ashenpaw, looking at her. "You there! I need help!" She yowled in pain. "Do you know any remedies?" She pleaded.

Moonpaw widened her eyes in surprise and dropped the vole by her paws. "Mouse-dung." She muttered. "A cat would have noticed and either ran or attacked, right?" She asked Claytail.

"Hmm? Alright. Be careful." She meowed to Nightfang.

Whiteleaf pondered the kits question for a moment before replying. "To a degree. The kits play here while they are young, but once they are of age, they begin their warrior training. Its all quite easy to grasp at with time," he mewed patiently. With any luck, the kit won't learn any bad habits from the other newcomers...

Ashenpaw gasped at the wounded cat, running to help her, even though she had no idea who the cat was. "What's wrong? What happened? You need to tell me everything!" She tried to stop the cat from walking, moving close. She didn't have any herbs with her...

Claytail shrugged, looking at the vole. "Maybe, they might not have noticed, but it is always best to stay on the safe side." He purred slightly. "Other than that, you kill was amazing. I swear you have to have done this before!" He looked at the vole. "Nice clean kill as well..."

"I-I fell in a briar bush" She mumbled, pretending to be embarrassed. "Must have tripped on my own paws.." She looked at Ashenpaw curiously. "Are you a medicine cat?"

Moonpaw nodded "I hope not! I don't wanna be fresh-kill for a rogue!" She giggled then smiled. "I must just be a natural then." She purred.

I nodded to him as I listened carefully "is that other cat gonna find my mommy?" I asked curiously as I saw NightFang leave the camp and into the Forrest I once came from.

NightFang - male - elder

I nodded at Featherstar and padded off into the Forrest, I could smell another cat somewhere so I followed that sent and came across a female who seemed to have been attacked "are you okay Ma'am?' I spoke worriedly as she did look a lot like featherstar "Tiny..?" I could hear her say. "She's fine..she's in the clan let me take you to her" I spoke as I had tried to help her on my back "I'm to weak" the female spoke but I refused to listen "Tiny needs you"

Ashenpaw shook her head worried more about the cat's well being than chat. "I'm only an apprentice..." SHe said, looking at the place the wound should have been. Something was wrong. She couldn't find any broken bones, or cuts. As far as she could tell, the cat was perfectly fine. I must be overlooking something...

Claytail smiled and picked up the kill. "A natural all right. Some cats are." He looked around, wondering what else to do while they were out here. "DO you want to hunt some more?" He asked.

Moonpaw smiled and purred. When Claytail asked her if she wanted to hunt more, she thought about it and shook her head. "I think we have enough for now." She stretched then looked at her mentor thoughtfully. "When will I train with another mentor and their apprentice?" She asked.
