To a cat that doesns't know her story, they might think she is named for her pelt. That isn't the case. Dapplepaw was named for the last thing her mother saw before dying, a dappled, dying rose. Her father was killed in a fight with rogues, leaving her mother pregnant and in despair. Her kitting was traumatic, and she was left with no cat to care for her. Despite her tough kithood, she is a tough she-cat and a caring one. She is a natural born leader, and intelligent. Lithe, she is a good hunter, and her sharp claws make her good at fighting, but she can be easily defeated by a bulkier cat due to her size.
