Featherpaw finished grooming and laid her head on her paws boredly.

Shardkit wandered out of the Nursery. He wasn't entirely sure where he was going, but he could smell the apprentice den close by. He then accidentally bumped into Featherpaw, rearing back in surprise and falling on his back. "Woah! Sorry!" He mewed, shaking himself.

Featherpaw smiled and giggled quietly at the tom-kit,"That's alright." She said shyly, but with a kind and friendly smile,"You alright?" She said as she put him back on his paws and looked into the kits blind eyes.

Shardkit nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." He replied, smiling. His tail wrapped around his body, and he lowered himself down to the ground. "I hope I didn't startle you, it's hard being blind." He mewed, sighing.

Featherpaw shock her head,"Not at all." She said. the she-cat apprentice may be shy like Shardkit, but she enjoyed being with kits,"You'll get it one day when you can walk without bumping into things, I know you will." She said placing her one paw of the other.

Shallowclaw looked out of the nursery "Hello Featherpaw." She gave a respectful nod to the apprentice. "Shardkit is blessed.." She licked Shardkit on the head.

Shardkit began to purr, lifting his head to lick Shallowclaw's chin. "So is my mother." He mewed, grinning. He then turned, walking back to the Nursery, sometimes almost losing his balance, or tripping over rocks poking out of the earth.

"Hello Shallowclaw." Featherpaw said shyly to the queen and watched as the tom-kit made his way back to the nursery,"Shardkit is lucking to have a mother like you." She meowed to Shallowclaw.
