Frostpaw picked up his pace to catch up to Maplepaw, glancing over at her smirking. "Good luck~" he meowed in a teasing way, running ahead of her.

Maplepaw grunted and made a sharp turn away from him. She began to slow her pace as she entered the forest.

Dawnflower stayed hidden, masking her scent along with staying silent. She watched Frostpaw.

Frostpaw slowed his pace and his fur bristled, knowing he was being watched. He tasted the air smelling plenty of mice and sparrows.

[Viperpaw]

Maplepaw flicked her ears forward and tasted the air, there was a scent trail of a rabbit not far off. 'Of all the animals...' she muttered and slowly followed the scent.

Frostpaw crept down seeing something moving in a pile of leaves and smirked. 'That she-cat is so going down. .'

Maplepaw crouched down, spotting the rabbit. 'Your mine...' she thought and slowly crept forward.

Frostpaw looked back on his moons of training and situated himself into the same old stalking position, slowly padding forward. He made sure to keep his body low to the ground but not enough as to shuffle the leaves underneath him. The plump mouse sat there unaware of what was about to happen and continued nibbling on something. Frostpaw waited a few more seconds until he was a few feet away and nodded to himself. 'Now!' He pounced forward, digging his claws and fangs into the mouse's body.

Maplepaw flatten her ears, and lowered to the ground. The rabbit hadn't noticed anything. Maplepaw smiled and leaped, her claws outstretched. The rabbit stared at her startled and started to run. "Oh no you don't!" she yowled and chased after it.

As Frostpaw was finishing up burying his prey he heard a yowl and purred. 'Shes not gonna catch any prey at this rate if she keeps on making so much noise. .'

"Get over here..." Maplepaw muttered not spotting the root, she tripped landing on top of the rabbit. She killed it with a bite and laid down, "Ugh..." she groaned and rubbed her head with her paw.
