FlightClan ~ A New Quest ~ *Accepting, Warriors Needed!*

Silversnow was silent for a moment before she stood. "Alright," she said, following him out of camp. "Where do you want to hunt?" She asked. "The meadow usually had some good mice around this time, just getting fat off of the newleaf grasses," she meowed, taking her own mind off of her curiousity.

Jaystar sniffed the air, his slender frame squeezing past a bush. "Yes, that's right. And fat mice are stupid ones," he joked, already feeling better. "I myself am quite fond of squirrels. We can try for some of those after." As they silently padded to the meadow, the scent of mouse flooded over his tongue. He licked his lips and pinpointed a tiny heartbeat a couple fox-lengths away. It had not noticed their arrival. He slunk towards it cautiously, barely seeing the smudge of brown against the grass. He leaped, forming a perfect silver arc in the air before landing squarely on top of the mouse. The tiny creature squirmed before Jaystar hissed, killing it swiftly.

Ashen moved on swiftly with his paws. He was kept on moving, he knew he'll be missed by the time he returns with out a excuse. He finally found Fawnstream curled up near his old den. " Really?" he mewed under his breath. The she-cat was waken with a mew, her head snapped up and growled " What do you want?!..oh its you." she got onto her paws and licked her chest. " What in the name of foxes are you doing out of the camp? I know your're going to throw the same question at me." he mewed in amusment. " you got the brains of a mouse, but the skills of a cat to make sure you were not followed." Fawnstream mewed " there is nothing you can do to bring me back to that camp to that bossy fur of a deptuy." her eyes shone with amusment, before harding again. She was right Ashen was good-natured at heart. " Ah well come on." he mewed turning around and walking to the direction of the camp. The tabby followed him.

Silversnow emerged from a bush a few moments later, a mouse dangling from her jaws as well. She walked over, seeming more to glide than actually touch the ground, dropping the mouse in front of him. "Squirrel hunting, huh?" She asked.

Jaystar gave a curt nod. "Yes. Squirrel hunting is good for training apprentices, too. He smiled to himself, remembering when he was only a young apprentice, not knowing anything about the world whatsoever. After he became a warrior, earning the name of Jaystorm, he proved himself a worthy warrior over and over, climbing his way up the ranks to become Clan leader.

Silversnow smiled. "I'm interested," she meowed. Her tail waved slowly, almost as if it was wagging. "Lead the way, I can't say I've ever hunted squirrels of the ground," she purred.

(That's fine ;3 I sometimes have some unknown motivation to write long paragraphs, but then lose my inspiration after a few days xD)

Jaystar chuckled quietly and padded through the undergrowth, occasionally sniffing the air. He stopped behind a holly bush when a furry ginger blob appeared above them on a low branch. "Let's chase it towards each other," he whispered. "You stay left, and I'll go at it from the other direction. I'll chase it into your paws."

Silversnow nodded and deftly leapt onto the branch and his within the foliage, her black and white spotted coat clending in surprisingly well. Focusing her balance,she waited for Jaystar's move.

((was one of those days when we had a writing competition? xD that was a great time, a great time. Gonna go make some kittehs~
Edit: Blossomfall, Moonclaw, Sunfur, Twilightpaw, Duskpaw, and Cherrypaw have all not been played recently by their rpers. Their rpers have all been posting in other rps, so should we keep them on the list or knock them off? Just to clear up the clutter and stuff.))

Jaystar clawed his way up a birch trunk, slipping into the dense foliage like a shadow. The squirrel was one tree away, still nibbling nuts and unaware of the warriors about to attack. Jaystar crept along a spindly branch and delicately jumped onto another tree. The squirrel seemed to get suspicious, because it froze and snapped its head up. It's now or never, the Clan leader thought. And I'm not going to lose a plump squirrel that's right under my nose. He made a leap for it, racing along the branches as the creature tore away. Jaystar yowled and slid to a halt, waiting for the squirrel to run into Silversnow's paws.
