"I guess, but who really loses if everybody does in the end?" Sunday murmured. "And anyway, life could - life was, a lot worse for me once. Why take it seriously? We're all going to leave it in the end."
She looked up at the sky. The world was so bleak, so lonely, but she had her pack and that was enough.

[Minimetoo]

Shawn's smile turned into a faint smirk as she spoke. "Correction: No one wins in the end." He paused to nod towards her respectfully. "Life isn't good. You have to agree with me there. But it could be a lot worse than it really is." He lowered his head and turned the other way. "It was a lot worse than now." He said under his breath.

[Aura]

"True. No one does win. But since everybody loses, we shouldn't worry if someone's going to be better off in the end. We're all equal. Life isn't good, but hey, there are always a few good things in life. Like prey, water, air... and love." Sunday said, looking pointedly at Cira and Reuben. "Not everyone gets even the basics, but isn't life just a temporary loan? No one lives forever."
Sunday licked her paw once to cleanse the blood, then laughed slightly. "But that optimism could just be my full stomach talking."

Scarlet nodded, "I hunted a bear once!" she barked excitedly.

[Aura]

"Cool!" said Sunday, smiling. "Bears are pretty big, I didn't hunt one until I was a bit bigger than you, but then again, you're a pretty smart little wolf."

Scarlet smiled proudly and flicked her ears, "Thanks, your smart yourself!" she laughed.

[Aura]

"You wouldn't say that if you had met me before." Sunday said playfully. "I've made so many bad choices... maybe this pack wasn't a bad one..." she thought to herself.

Stephanie trudged through the forest, her tail swishing the leaves behind her. She'd had a horrible day and felt as if she had been run over by a bear. The leaves crunched under her paws, scaring a couple birds in the tree above her. She sat down with a thump and sighed. "I might as well just go to sleep", she decided. "After all, the sooner I go to sleep, the sooner tomorrow comes." She placed her head on her paws and closed her eyes, oblivious to the rabbit running warily past her.

Shawn chuckled before shaking his head and getting to his paws. It was obvious he wasn't part of the conversation anymore, so he was going to see his way out of it. He padded the other way, his ears up high in alert. His ears twitched slightly at the sound of a voice. He made his way towards it until she was in view. Stephanie. The wolf's eyes softened and he sat a ways away, watching her. It would always be the same. He being the spectator of her life. With a small sigh, he dropped his eyes and curled his tail around his leg timidly.

Cira smiled softly, she sat down and waited for him to hunt. Her ears flicked a bit as the hear the wind blowing softly. Her blind gentle eyes stared ahead as they did most often. Her black fur shimmered in the sun's light that was peering though the holes in the leaves far above her head.

Sky smiled happily. Her eye was missing, her right one to be more detailed, it was sad she had lost it to a fox when she was really young. Just a mere pup in fact. But she was much older now, and far more wise, and deathly. Far much more determined then when she was a pup. Head strong and all, but she was a loyal wolf till the end. But she was also upbeat, and always on the go. She smiled and jumped up, she landed upon the ground and the ground shook ever so slightly to her powers just enough to make a fearful mouse run out of it's hole and straight at her. She smiled and caught it easily.
