Foxclaw slowed as Stormpaw slowed, and watched as he scanned the area, then continued following the patrol. He's looking for prey, Foxclaw realized, Stormpaw's looking for prey. Foxclaw felt guilty, then angry that he hadn't thought to do that. An apprentice did before you, mousebrain! He ignored the fact that there wouldn't be any prey this near the camp. Foxclaw sped up, and fell into step beside Stormpaw. "Scented any prey yet?" He asked the young tom.

Echolight watched as Jaywing left. She had gone towards the stream. She followed sensing the she-cat might be upset about something. She could also do her hunting by the stream. A lot of prey went there for water and if she wanted she could fish. She padded up to Jaywing and sat beside her. "Is everything okay?"

Foxclaw noticed Echolight veer off to talk to Jaywing. He guessed they were going to talk about she-cat stuff, and he didn't want to hear about that, so he turned to the rest of the patrol. "Let's stop and hunt here," he suggested, taking over the patrol. "We can fish, or hunt in the woods, you can choose." Foxclaw turned to the stream, and peered in, waiting for fish to swim by.

"Are you sure?" she asked not completely believing her. She focused on the stream and with a quick swipe of her paw she brought a fish out of the water.
