snowstorm growled softly, sinking her fangs deeper into the animal's neck. it began to lose strength, kicking feebly, until it went limp in her jaws from both her and the rainwing's venom. she panted, dropping the bloodied carcass onto the sand. ''that,'' she growled, ''was a pain.'' she rubbed some scratches where the beast's horns had dug into her neck. ''let's get this thing back to the others. who knows, maybe it's better than rattlesnake.'' snowstorm gripped a horn in her jaws and began to drag it along back to the small oasis. ''it can't be that bad!'' she answered terra, muffled.

snowstorm dropped the gemsbok in the camp, slumping down with a sigh. ''i think that'll definitely feed us all for a day or two. the rattlesnake was good, but this might be better than eating snake.''

Hope carefully cut around the venom, making the gemsbok good to eat. "There! Venom free!" She grasped a leg and helped take it back to camp.

Terra smiled sheepishly before helping them carry it. "sorry."

Pharaoh- Pharaoh nodded. It would be better than the cooked white meat of a snake. "That should last us for a while, but we might have to catch other things. And the leftover meat's gonna be a pain to carry..." He started rattling off negatives and positives.
