She nods, looking back to the ceremony in progress.

He looks up also, eager for this to be over.

Lightningpaw changed his mind. He'd probably hear it from Sunstar later, but that was okay. He tapped his tail lightly on Songpaw's shoulder and backed out of the crowd, unnoticed, then out a hole in the camp wall.

Nightfang looked around camp. He noticed Lightningpaw's absence. Nightfang wondered if he should find him but decided not to. He shrugged and continued to watch the ceremony.
