lionstar looked cooly at the young cat. "I will be giving you a temporary mentor." He thought for a moment. "Cloudstripe will mentor you until Snowfeather can resume her warrior duties." He curled his tail around his paws, standing and shaking his pelt before turning towards his den. "Oh, and Dewpaw-" he added, looking back over his shoulder. "Snowfeather has served this clan well. I don't want to see anymore lite night sulking or talking because you or your friends believe otherwise." With that he turned away. True, he hadn't heard dewpaw say anything to grotesque, but there was no defense from her either so she wasn't exactly innocent. And he would have a talk with the other apprentices about it later.

Dewpaw opened her mouth to protest but thought better of it and closed her mouth. She had not said anything bad about Snowfeather and likes her as her mentor. She only meowed a quick "Okay." before padding back to where Blazepaw and Stormclaw were standing "I don't think I can go. I will see you later Blazepaw." she meowed while looking at her paws before turning and slowly disappearing back into the apprentice den. She had not seen Cloudstripe yet and would wait for him here.

Cloudstripe

The warrior pads out of the den slowly, yawning and stretching in a patch of sunlight. The morning was still chilly, although his thick fur protected him from most of the cold. Lionstar had told him previously that he was to mentor Dewpaw temporarily so he glances around, wondering if the she-cat was up yet. He goes over to the apprentices den, popping his head inside and looking at Dewpaw. "Good morning Dewpaw." He says, dipping his head slightly in a greeting

Ravenpaw

The small tom wakes up in his nest, hearing voices around the den. He let's out a soft huff before curling up into a tighter ball, trying to ignore the voices as long as he could

he nodded and watched her disappear into the apprentice den, he looked back at Stormclaw "what will we be doing today?"

Dewpaw saw Ravenpaw stir and got up "Hello Cloudstripe, I am guessing Lionstar told you already?" she meowed while inside the apprentice den.

Cloudstripe

He gives her a small nod. "Yes, would you like to go hunting?" He asks, twitching his ear slightly. He was a bit excited to be helping her train, and as they were both cats with light pelts that would be quite helpful. Snowfeather must have already taught her hunting techniques but he did have a few of his own

Dewpaw smiled at that, something to keep her mind busy "Okay, but do you think we could practice some fighting as well? Snowfeather hasn't taught me any of that yet." the small she cat asked as she padded to the warrior. She waited for him to lead the way.

Cloudstripe

"Of course." He purrs softly, turning and leading the way towards the entrance. "Would you rather hunt or train now then?" He asks, turning his gaze to Dewpaw

Dewpaw had chased after the tom with a small smile and returned his gaze "Lets train!" she said bouncing around energetically.
