Dawnflower tilted her head curiously, who was this newcomer? Both her and Reedtail had followed the scent without any problems and surely the strange cat had scented them as well. Yet this cat had made no action to defend itself. Dawnflower's left ear twitched as she heard a voice, it was both quiet and feminine. Asking about if there was anyone out there, so Dawnflower now knew the cat they found was a she-cat. 'She sounds like she's really tired.' She thought. Looking over at Reedtail she mewed, "May we see who is this cat is?" Dawnflower was certain this cat wasn't a threat, but she wasn't so sure what Reedtail thought. He might've been more hesitant to see what this cat was doing here. Without waiting for a reply, she called out to the voice. "Yes, it's Dawnflower and Reedtail of RootClan. What are you doing on our land?" She meowed. Her voice sounded very gentle, yet held guarded curiosity.

Ferretkit watched out over the camp from where he was curled up with his sleeping brother and his mother, who was dozing in the warmth of her kits. He then looked at Cloverstep and tilted his head, at some point she'd been a warrior, right? And when he and Coldkit had to become apprentices, she'd probably go back to that. He wondered if maybe she'd act differently to them both afterwards, but couldn't see it, his mother was affectionate to everyone.

Fishpaw slowly crept forward, eyeing the mouse quietly, he avoided the debris over the forest floor and kept his steps light and soft, his body low. He leaped and pinned the mouse, snapping its neck.

Fishtail walked over to the warriors den, not feeling hungry. She stared up at sky, watching the clouds.

Cottontail sat down, licking her paws.

Reedtail sighed at Dawnflower, then said "we don't come to harm you"

Sandfur's nodded. "Thank you" she mewed. She took a few small bites, before standing up and carrying it to the queen. "Here" she said, placing it down. She walked back over to Stormlily.

Flea ignored the two and climbed into the tree, choosing a place to sit down.

Dusk sniffed the air. She scented another clan cat. (Fishpaw) "Follow me" she said, walking towards the smell.

Fishpaw, compltley unaware of the approching cats as their scent was drifting the opposite direction, kicked sand over the mouse to keep it away from predators. He spotted some juniper berries hanging from a juniper bush. H tilted his head slightly, "I wonder if the med cat has enough of them..." He murmered thoughtfully, not paying attention to his surroundings.

Fishtail walked over to the warriors den, not feeling hungry. She stared up at sky, watching the clouds.

Cottontail sat down, licking her paws.

Sandfur's nodded. "Thank you" she mewed. She took a few small bites, before standing up and carrying it to the queen. "Here" she said, placing it down. She walked back over to Stormlily.

Flea ignored the two and climbed into the tree, choosing a place to sit down.

Dusk spotted the cat and hid in a large dark bush, her grey fur hidden by its leaves. "That mouse looks tasty" she growled.

Fishpaw jumped before seeing a cat in the bushes. He quickly snatched up the mouse. "This is to feed the clan!" He snarled, unsheathing his claws and glaring his bright green gaze on the cat in the bushes.
