Larkpaw stayed on the mainland, glad that Frostclaw had finally left him alone. The young apprentice stuck out the tip of this tongue, trying to dry it out. The semi dried tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth, and he did his best scoff that he could, considering the tongue. He quickly pulled it back in, sighing in boredom. He drug his paw over the dirt, wondering if Frostclaw even noticed he was still on the mainland

Frostclaw heaved himself out of the lake, his silver pelt dripping wet. "Larkpaw!" he growled, droplets of water shooting off of his pelt as he shook. "Where have you been? A wolf could've gotten you!" He hissed, irritated by the apprentice. Frostclaw's ears were pricked up, wary of any danger nearby.
