Aubrey managed to break free out of the thick woods, she was becoming lame with every step. Her head hung low, she didn't have much energy to lift it up. Because of this, branches constantly jabbed her in the face.
Still lurking deep within the forest was the homicidal killer, lusting for more. Venom couldn't quite calculate his reason, but the feeling of having control over another living thing made him feel powerful. That one feeling that he had been longing for was finally found for him. Even though he knew Aubrey was alive still, and Temperance was on the edge of death, he felt satisfaction for wounding them.
More concerns for him appeared, asking if he would go further than just severe injuries next time.
