Foxclaw slowed as Stormpaw slowed, and watched as he scanned the area, then continued following the patrol. He's looking for prey, Foxclaw realized, Stormpaw's looking for prey. Foxclaw felt guilty, then angry that he hadn't thought to do that. An apprentice did before you, mousebrain! He ignored the fact that there wouldn't be any prey this near the camp. Foxclaw sped up, and fell into step beside Stormpaw. "Scented any prey yet?" He asked the young tom.

Cloudpetal followed the patrol, her ears flicked ahead when she saw Foxclaw slow down to say something to Stormpaw, but she ignored it. She was walking at the back of the patrol, that way whatever happened earlier, didn't happen again during the patrol...hopefully.

"Hey!" Darkfoot hissed as he turned around to see it was just Jaywing. He sighed in relief and continued looking at the sky for a bird.

Jaywing flinched and then relaxed. She looked up padding closer to him to make sure she didn't make any sounds and have him get distracted again. Her pelt had a warm sensation as she stood next to him. What if he doesn't like me? She thought sadly, then pushed the thought away.

Darkfoot flicked his ear before looking up and seeing a bird. He swiftly leaped into the air and bit down hard on its neck before landing on the ground again.
