Cricketkit and Flamingkit tumbled out of the nursery, squealing loudly. Cricketkit broke away from her sister, running towards the elders den with her tail sticking straight up in the air. Flamingkit looked around for something to do, pausing for a moment when she saw Hawkpaw by himself.

The white she-kit bounded over to his, her bright ginger tail bushing up. "Hi!"

Rustpaw smiled widely, a purr rumbling in his throat. Before he ducked into the apprentices den, the ginger tom nudged her shoulder with his nose and stuck his tongue out playfully. Once he was inside, he padded over to his nest and circled it a few times before curling up, tucking his nose under his tail.

The tom looked with a warm smile to the kit."Hi, Flamingkit. How are you doing?"Hawkpaw asked the ginger she-kit, his deep blue gaze resting on the kit."How old are you?"He asked wondering because Flameingkit was big for a kit so she may be 5 or 6 moons.

(If it would be for Flamingkit to be 5-6 moons Hawkpaw would like to talk with her.He's 6 moons. lol.)

"I'm good." Flamingkit mewed, sitting down from across the tom, curling her ginger tail over her paws. "Almost six moons. Me and Cricketkit are waiting to be made apprentices." She mewed.

Rustpaw smiled widely, a purr rumbling in his throat. Before he ducked into the apprentices den, the ginger tom nudged her shoulder with his nose and stuck his tongue out playfully. Once he was inside, he padded over to his nest and circled it a few times before curling up, tucking his nose under his tail.

"Nice!I think you two will be really good warriors.As long as you train hard and give your best to the clan, everything will sort out just fine."Felling the hunger in his belly the tom took a look at the fresh-kill pile."Are you hungry?"

"Definitely!" Flamingkit squeaked happily, hopping to her paws and following Hawkpaw to the fresh-kill pile. "Do you want to share?" She mewed, looking over her shoulder.

"Sure."He got up and looked at the prey in the pile."Hm...Hare or Vole?"The tom said not really caring what he ate.

"Hare." Flamingkit mewed, waiting until the medicine cat apprentice had gotten the prey before settling down next to him. She leaned forward and took a small bite out of the hare, chewing slowly before swallowing.

The took the hare from the pile a then settled down with Flamingkit to eat. After she took a bite he took one too and swallow it in a breath.

Flamingkit took another bite, her tail tip twitching as she ate her mouthful. She swallowed then turned her head so she could look at Hawkpaw. "How do you like being a medicine cat apprentice?"

"I like it. It is interesting knowing about all the herbs and now I know that sometime I will be able to help my clan. Why you want to be a warrior?" He asked a half smile appearing in the corner of his mouth and his eyebrows rising in a curious manner.
