Brighteyes hushed him gently and nodded, "I know, I know," She agreed, managing to keep her tone gentle the whole time, "You just need to prove that you are better than this. Better than what has just happened. Work on your apprentice training, and the fact that you are a worthy warrior. It doesn't matter whether you end up being leader or not," She insisted, "Just that you are as best a warrior as you can be, and that your Clan respects your actions."

Lionpaw took a deep breath, in and out. He nodded and stood up, feeling better.

{ I don't mind! I think that Brighteyes would be good with Lionpaw though... c: }

Brighteyes smiled at the young tom, and also got to her paws. "Well done," She mewed, "Are you ready to go back to the others?"

Lionpaw nodded. "Okay. But Rootclaw is going to have a go at me!"

Brighteyes smiled, but she her head, "No, Lionpaw, he wont." She promised him, "Rootclaw may seem hard on the outside, but he's gooey on the inside. He's just disappointed, that is all." She began to pad back in the direction they came, "Come along."

Lionpaw took a deep breathe and nodded. "Okay."

Brighteyes nodded, and lead him back to the others, making sure to go through the bracken first. She exchanged a glance with Rootclaw, warning him to lay off her apprentice. Once she pushed through, she waited for Lionpaw to enter, and sat by his side, making sure to be there for him if he needed it.

Rootclaw sighed. He was glad that Brighteyes had managed to talk some sense into her apprentice, but what was he going to do with his? Greypaw was so much like both him, and his brother, but at least they managed to control it. Again, he let a sigh escape his maw, and his gaze turned from anger to disappointment as he locked gazes with Greypaw. "What am I going to do with you..." He muttered. He could only imagine what Fireleaf would say to Cricketpaw, he wouldn't believe that he had nothing to do with it. "Let's get both of you back to Darkstar," He decided, "He shall decided what punishment best suits your actions."

Lionpaw's head dropped as he followed the warrior back to camp.

Brighteyes held up the rear of the patrol as Rootclaw lead, making sure that no one ran. Once they all reached the camp safely, Brighteyes made sure all four apprentices sat in the center of the clearing with her, whilst Rootclaw fetched Darkstar. She sat by Lionpaw's side and whispered in his ear, "Make sure you take what ever comes your way with dignity, and learn from this experience."
