Applewibg let out a gasp as she felt something on her tail, her tail started burning she opened her eyes and turned her head to see her tail fur was on fire

Brightstar nodded and went into a coughing fit, crouching back down.

Starkit yelped and jumped on her tail, trying to beat the fire out with her three usable legs.

(Let's pretend Dewfur was in the nursery when the log fell.)

Dewfur picked up the Starkit and put her down a safe distance from the fire. "Don't get close, I'll handle this." She said. Dewfur grabbed one of the moss nests and covered Applewing's tail with moss, trying to blow out the fire.

Applewing wanted to yowl but nothing came out

"I can take care of my self!" Starkit told her angrily. "Goodness knows I've taken care of all three of us since Starfall died," she muttered to herself.

Lightkit squeaked in fear. She stopped pushing the log and paced back and forth, frightened.

Dewfur ignored the kit and tried to blow out the fire.
