Starkit used her back paws, as her front left leg was still in a splint.

Russetstar pushed alongside Brightstar

LeafFall dashed into camp and hopped atop the log covering the nursery's entrance, "Littlepaw sent me." He looked to Russetstar, "Ashpaw, Redpaw, and Brackenleaf accused you of attacking Brightstar. Sure doesn't look like it."

Russetstar sighed, "They were responsible for the deaths of Russetfoot and Silverflower." LeafFall nodded to her brother and helped them attempt to push the log out

Brightstar nodded. "Are you kidding? This cat saved my life." he shot Russetstar a grateful look. "Yes. Silverflower and Russetfoot were murdered. The log was just a tool." He heaved forward with his front paws again.

Frostkit and Dusty pushed on the log. "We need everyone who can help!"

Lightkit wandered over to where the scent was coming from and gave a few small pushes at the log with her back, bumping into other cats from time to time. The tiny kit wasn't much help, but she was trying her hardest. She didn't see the small opening she could crawl out of, being blind.

Honourflame inched his paw on top of Applewing's. I love you.

Serenity peered into the small opening outside the nursery and realized something. "Brightstar! Any kit small enough may be able to squeeze through this opening!"

Lightkit continued pushing the log.

Brightstar stopped, panting, and fell back on his side. "Which kits are small enough? Cheetahblaze's litter? Lightkit? Dusty? No, Dusty is to big..."
