"You're right. Take care now." Bluegaze then padded off back to camp to see how things were going. The white and gray tom entered the camp before padding over to Aridstar and sat down beside her. "Good day Aridstar. How are you doing?"

She looked up seeing Hazestrike padding into the den and eventually over to her. "You kidding me? It's cold and I wouldn't even be able to stay out there for five minutes. Leaf-bare is going to be even worse. Why should I even enjoy myself when I constantly am doubting myself?" Paleface sighed out softly. "So... what brings you to the den?"

He answered with a grin before feeling himself tense up a bit when her pelt bushed his. Viperpaw had always thought she was gorgeous too. Again, he couldn't care less about her deformity. She way more prettier with them anyways.

She was laying down at the border looking over. The she cat had never crossed the border before as she respected the clan. Eirikur stood up before she looked around tempted a bit. She was hungry and she couldn't find any prey on her side and now, she may have to cross the border for the first time. Of course she didn't want to but still.

He padded to the border and laid down before continuing to groom his pelt off. He couldn't care less where he was at the moment for he had just woken up. Max too had scented a cat nearby but at the moment, he couldn't care less. The tom eventually got up and stretched a bit more before deciding to get something to eat. With that, he entered the clan's territory to hunt.

Icepetal flicked her gray striped tail. The white she cat was quite bored, and wanted something to do. Perhaps someone would ask her if they would like to hunt with them. Icepetal shifted her light green eyes looking for some cat who looked just as bored as she was. The she cat flicked her tail once more. Icepetal sighed. Camp was quite boring right now, she might as well go take a nap or something. The she cat padded over and into the warriors den, and settled into her nest, and fell into a light doze.

Aridstar stopped licking her pelt and looked over at Bluegaze, who had begun talking to her. "Well this is out of the blue. I'm doing good, just waiting for the patrol to return. I saw the medicine cats leave, so I have a bad feeling about this" Aridstar flicked her eyes in the direction of where they fought the hawk, a flash of concern hinted in her eyes. She looked back at Bluegaze and continued, "I'd send a patrol out to check up but there are already enough cats over there." She nodded her head, cheeks a bit flushed, and apologized, "Sorry about my babbling, how have you been as well?"

Jaggedbreeze nodded to Hollyheart's question for if she wanted poppy seeds. How am I even going to eat poppy seeds? Its going to hurt so bad! Wait, how am I even going to be able to eat for the next few moons! Fear struck her and she started panicking, Oh no, no, no. How can I survive if it hurts too much to eat for the next few months, possibly forever! Random ideas kept swirling her head. Okay, a warrior will chew it up for me and spit it out. But... that would be kind of weird. But thats maybe the only possible thing. Should I travel far and visit a twoleg for help? Too dangerous. Maybe we could discover a new way to liquefy prey. But, that makes no sense. Oh starclan, I'm hopeless. She pushed all the thoughts away and decided to focus on whats important currently, having Hollyheart treat her wounds.

Owleyes sat across from her "I'm here to listen if you want to get anything out of your system." He paused for a few moments and added on to make her feel less pressured, "If you would prefer not to, I can leave." He gave a slight smile and awaited her response. I-It's possible its about my relationship with Littlesprout... They never seem to get along.
As soon as Littlesprout and I rubbed pelts, Shadewing suddenly seemed to lose energy and be like this.

Flame ran through the marsh, right on the tail of his prey, a marsh rabbit. He stepped in a hole and tumbled over. He winced and slowly stood up. The rabbit was long gone and he clenched his teeth in frustration. "How hard is it to catch a piece of prey out in this dumb marsh" he yelled, pacing back and forth. He had probably scared away all he prey just then. Flame began walking over to the large river and looked in it. Fish, frogs, turtles, and shrimp could be caught here. He stared in the water and as soon as he saw a fish swim by, he slammed his paw into the water and hooked his claws around the fish. He pulled it out of the river and set it on the ground next to him. Flame bit its spine and it cracked, and the fish fell limp right after. Flame began tearing apart the fish and eating it where he sat.

Hazestrike sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws. "Well then, you better find a mate to cuddle with you all leaf-bare so you can stay warm" he teased, smiling a little. Hazestrike answered her question, "I was going to take a nap but I saw you were in here so I decided to chat a little." He stood up and padded for the exit of the den. "Come on, spend some time outside and we can share a vole or something if you'd like" he said, looking back at Paleface and chuckling, "If you don't, I'll drag you out there like a little kit!"

Pigeoncloud sighed with relief and realized looked down at his leg. He glanced at the tail of the medicine cat which was touching his flank and he felt his cheeks getting hot. He said nothing, only lifting his body off the ground for Thorntail to get underneath him. He looked over at Hollyheart, who seemed slightly uncomfortable as she looked around the clearing. Pigeoncloud looked over at Jaggedbreeze. If Hollyheart was going to fix her tail, the warrior wouldn't be able to bite down on a stick like he had done himself. He was quite curious to find out the solution to that problem, but he didn't want to distract Hollyheart from her stick hunting.

Hollyheart noticed the worry in Jaggedbreeze's eyes. "It's just a poppyseed, they're really tiny." She said, holding the poppyseed up to Jaggedbreeze's lips, barely touching her jaws. Once the warrior had eaten it, Hollyheart put the splint around her tail. "Does it hurt when you chew?" She asked. She wasn't sure what they could feed Jaggebreeze. She supposed Chamomile for her energy... Honey. It would soothe her throat and she didn't have to chew it. They didn't have any at the moment. She'd have to talk to Pinetail about it more, and send out a patrol. There had to be a bees' nest somewhere. "We won't let you starve, Jaggedbreeze." She said, applying cobwebs to her wounds. She knew she should add something for infection, but it was just until they got back to camp.

Thorntail

Once he had Pigeoncloud on his back, the large warrior began to head back towards camp. "Be sure to hang on. I don't plan to move too fast but just be careful since I would hate for you to fall." He said as he kept his pace slow and steady for him. He was glad he came along as there was no way Pinetail could have carried him. The tom was too small and a bit frail from being so thin.

Medicine cat/Tom/34 moons/Crush:Aridstar and Pigeoncloud/Tags:Patrol

Watching as Thorntail carried Pigeoncloud away, he was beginning to think of all the things he would need. The tom began to worry as he wasn't sure if he had enough of everything to help heal Jaggedbreeze. He would need to revisit his usual spots for foraging and see if he could find extra herbs. Her jaw seemed to be only broken but he was worried that infection could set in. "Don't worry Jaggedbreeze. Hollyheart is very skilled and if anyone can help you, its her." He went over to Jaggedbreeze, lightly licking her shoulder to hopefully keep her calm. Getting worked up wouldn't help them. "Now I think we shouldn't have Jaggedbreeze talk for a while. I don't want her overworking her jaw or causing it more pain."

"On it!" He swiftly darted off before returning with a large wad of moss crammed in his jaws. It was soaking with water and he carefully dropped it next to Hollyheart. "What are you going to do?"

Manglepaw

Her heart gave a small flutter and she looked away shyly. "You are just saying that to be nice but thank you." She stopped when she saw blood on the ground and then her gaze landed on Jaggebreeze. She let out a soft gasp as the fur along her spine lifted. "Did the hawk do that?" She was shocked at what she saw and her gaze traveled over to the dead hawk. It was definitely a large bird.

She had been ready to head off when the wind carried the scent towards her again. But this time it was stronger and obviously the cat was close. Turning, she began to follow it until she spotted the tom. Hackles rising, she narrowed her amber eyes as she let out a hiss. "What are you doing on our territory?!" Despite being alone, she tried to act brave and threatening. Her white fur was bristled and she pinned her ears back while her claws slid out. She had to act like she wasn't scared if she was to be taken seriously.

He nodded to her acknowledging what she was saying. "No need to apologize. I've been doing okay. I was just out with Hollyheart until she had to return to her duties so I came back here." Bluegaze meowed back before he too looked in the direction the hawk was supposedly at. "Anything new with you? I mean uh, we may as well talk while you wait for the patrol to come back... right?"

Max jumped up a bit when hearing a sudden voice before turning around facing a she cat. "Well well well. Looks like I attracted a poor clan kitty. Step aside she cat. I wouldn't suggest getting into a tussle with me." He snorted with a small sly grin.

Manglepaw slowly went over to the hawk and lightly poked it's wing. She jumped back when she thought it moved but the bird was simply laying there limply. "They actually killed it." She was in awe as the bird could have easily carried her away. "I guess it's a good thing I didn't get to go along. It might have carried me off." She shuddered at the idea. "I didn't know hawks could get this big!" She glanced at Jaggedbreeze, wondering what happened to her exactly.

The tom also nudged the hawk before he grabbed a wing and spread it out. "Look at the wings in this thing! This thing is a monster!" He meowed in awe before checking out the rest of the hawk. He looked at the beak and the talons and even the feathers. Viperpaw had never seen a hawk until now. Alive or dead, this was amazing.

Pigeoncloud nodded and looked back at Pinetail. He wanted the tom to come with them, but he knew Jaggebreeze was definitely more important. As they continued on towards the camp, he wondered if they would be able to fix Jaggedbreeze. How would she eat? Or hunt? It didn't seem possible.

Hollyheart hissed furiously at the two apprentices who had walked into the clearing. "Why are you here? You can't leave camp without a warrior! I'm trying to work!" She growled. They were useful though, those apprentices. They could go back to camp and fetch some warriors.

Reaching camp, he carried the other to the medicine cat den and found a nest that wasn't being used. He carefully set the tom down in it as gently as he could. "You should be good here. I'll be back since they might need my help with Jaggedbreeze as well. Pinetail and Hollyheart should be back soon though." He said before quickly turning to leave.

Lost in thought, he didn't noticed the two apprentices as he was recounting his herbs in his mind. He mumbled to himself of which herbs he needed to find more of.

"Please don't be mad at her," she said to Hollyheart as he went to Manglepaw and wrapped his tail around her shoulders protectively. "She just really wanted to see the hawk is all and she can help." He didn't want his cousin getting in trouble for leaving camp.

Growling, she let out another hiss and arched her back. "Don't underestimate me rouge! I can handle myself quite well." She took a small step forward, muscles tensed. "Its you who doesn't want to get in a fight with me. I'll claw your ears off!"
