Soaringbird sat outside the nursery, watching her clanmates as they grieved for the former deputy. Eelmuzzle padded over to the pure white she-cat, grunting slightly as he settled next to her. The elder nudged the young she-cat with his silver tinged muzzle. "You should go back to sleep. I'll watch your kits." The black elder mewed.

The white queen looked at the tom then nodded, getting to her paws and ducking back into the nursery. She always reacted oddly when she saw one of her clanmates dead, it reminded her of when her brother had been killed.


Rustpaw padded up to Vixenpaw, his ears flattening against his head. The orange tabby pressed against Vixenpaw's side. "Are you okay?" He whispered.

Rustpaw whimpered, pressing his muzzle into her cheek, hating that she was crying. "I know, it's horrible. Greywing was young and had so much life left to live."

Rustpaw rested his chin on top of Vixenpaw's head, curling his tail around her back to try and comfort her. "You should eat something." He mewed. "Then get some sleep." He gently nipped her ear in a playful way, giving her a small smile.

Ambersplash dipped her head at the sound of the new deputy's name being called. She quickly rose, padded over to the warriors' den and settled down in her nest.

"Sure!" Rustpaw chirped, getting to his paws and following Vixenpaw over to the fresh-kill pile. He picked up the rabbit she had mentioned and dragged it over to a spot by the apprentices den. The ginger tabby settled next to her, waiting for her to settle down as well before he took a bite out of the rabbit.

Rustpaw chewed slowly and swallowed his bite, looking at Vixenpaw from the corner of his eye. He smirked slightly, glad to see that she looked happier than she had been several moments before. He dipped his head and took another bite. Once he swallowed that mouthful, he bumped his head gently against Vixenpaw's.

[Katrione]

Rustpaw's amber gaze softened when he felt Vixenpaw's fox-colored pelt brush faintly against his ginger pelt. He nodded and smiled shyly before pushing himself up onto his paws. "Yeah, we should go get some sleep." He mewed.

The ginger tabby paused next to her before giving her a quick lick on her cheek.

Hawkpaw

After the Cloverclan apprentice left their camp, Hawkpaw shifted his glance to the sky and sight escaped him.So much happened this moon that now he missed the boring life.The tom decided to go lay down somewhere quiet and rest.

Rustpaw smiled widely, a purr rumbling in his throat. Before he ducked into the apprentices den, the ginger tom nudged her shoulder with his nose and stuck his tongue out playfully. Once he was inside, he padded over to his nest and circled it a few times before curling up, tucking his nose under his tail.
