The she-cat was overjoyed at her mentor's praise. It made her feel confident, like she could go out into the forest and collect herbs all day. "Sure!" she meowed enthusiastically and trotted over to the entry of camp.

Heathercloud smiled at her apprentice and followed her over to the camp entrance. Once they'd left and were padding through the territory, she looked at Spiritpaw. "Can you remember what we needed?" She asked her, testing the she cat's memory skills. Many cats didn't know this, but memory played a small part in being a medicine cat because of you couldn't remember what herbs you had to collect, what good were you?

Whiterain
Whiterain took a bite of the mouse and swallowed it before replying. "Well, Honeystream's kits were born and a loner was spotted outside of camp. As far as I'm aware that's really all that's happened. I've been half asleep still." He mewed, smiling at the she cat. "I haven't seen the new kits yet but apparently they're beautiful." He added.

Greypaw
Greypaw lay in her nest, dreaming. She chased a large mouse through the territory. It was about half her size. As she pounced on it, the ground opened out and she fell into a black abyss before her eyes shot open. She got up and stretched, yawning before leaving the den, mind swirling with memories of her nightmare. She sat outside the den and began to groom her uneven chest fur.

Littleshadow
Littleshadow ran through the prey-rich territory. Everywhere he looked prey flooded from the bushes, overpowering the scents of trees and bushes. That was the disadvantage of StarClan, prey literally jumped into your paws. He missed the challenge of stalking mice and dashing after rabbits. He wouldn't have that ever again. It upset him, but then he remembered that he'd died for his Clan, like he'd vowed when he first became a Littleshadow.

She closed her eyes and thought back to earlier. "Cobwebs, marigold, juniper berries, and poppy seeds." she replied simply, blinking back open her eyes.

Heathercloud nodded at the younger she cat. "Good, now can you remind me what each herb is for?" She asked the apprentice as they reached the clump of juniper bushes. She began to harvest the bush, collecting the berries in a small pile on the ground.
