(( here. This is fo' you! Also, the last 5-6 pages were basically Moonshade and Secretgrudge talking after he found her sitting alone by the river. He had said she was confident enough and she told him about her past, got a lil' pissy, then cooled down and I think they're developing a crushy-crush xD ))

Spiderfrost was alone in her den curled up in a tight ball. Dispite her personality and attutide the time she had alone horrified her. It gave her time to think, but her thoughts always shift one way of another to the events in her life that she wanted no one to know about...no one, not even Starpaw should know.

A small branch holding several blood red berries on them lay next to her as she stared blankly at it. She laughed strangely.

"Are you proud of me now you twisted she-cat...?" she murmured

Secretgrudge locked on to a scent and looked up into the trees. He narrowed his eyes in thought as a small baby owl poked its head outside a hole in the trunk.

"That's something new..." he murmured and extended his claws to start climbing.

Moonshade blinked and paused the moment she was about to leap over a log. "Ah.." she turned to him and stared at Secregrudge. Why did this feel strange? She was deputy! She shouldn't be this shy. But something was bugging her. Then she remembered. Fireface. The first and only tom she'd been desperate to make him notice her. But did he even care? Did he care for her secretly the way she had always done for him? She was starting to think he didn't and the thought seriously hurt. Was he that clueless? Was it that hard for him to see her? She looked at the ground as she became lost in thought. Maybe he liked another she-cat... It was very possible. But that hurt even more. She blinked and tried to put that in the past. If he chose that, then fine. That was his loss. Maybe she'd grow old and alone, but still a good warrior to Wishclan. But did she want to be lonely? NO one really wants that... Do they? She swallowed. Secretgrudge always looked like he seemed to want to be alone... Did he? Did he really want that? Did he- She stopped at once.
"Sure," she answered quietly, and gave a small smile.

(( AND, this is kinda letting you know how Moonie's feeling about Fireface not knowing about how she feels about him. I think that's it.... ))

Moonshade paused, blinking her dark eyes. She crouched at the bottom of the tree trunk, waiting to let Secretgrudge get the owl. An owl? Out now? She waited, hoping it didn't already know how to fly and he'd catch it alright.

Eaglesong looked at the she-cat with horrified eyes of what she possibly had gone through. She was right. He wouldn't ever know. She has seen more than he can dream up. "Okay, well, get some rest, and we can get to Silverstar later," He said, waving his tail in good-bye. Eaglesong padded mindlessly through camp to find that his paws had taken him to the medicine cat den. Bewildered, he walked in and heard Spiderfrost say something about a twisted she-cat. What? He thought, but walked in and showed no signs that he had heard her mumbling. "Greetings Spiderfrost, how are you?" He said in a hardened, but loving voice.

The warrior climbed up to the branch the baby bird made home as quickly as possible. He had to make this quick and silent if he was going to get the future pest without it alerting its mother. Secretgrudge steadied himself and looked at the little thing as it peeped obliviously to the danger. It was trapped, without any means to escape since it could not fly. He launched himself into the hole and broke the little creatures body before an alert could be made. Then he poked his own head out of the nest.

"Any sign of the mother sleeping nearby?" he asked Moonshade.

The white back of the she-cat tensed and she turned her head to stare at Eaglesong with her usual scowl. She didn't know why, but his presence in her den irked her. And not just because he almost slashed the fur off her tail from their previous argument.

"What do you want?" she asked rudely.
