The air, Brightstar noticed as he exited the den, was stiff and warm. He looked up - the clouds had turned the sky dark gray, and thunder rumbled. A frown settled on his face. Shrugging it off, he headed to the High Rock, ready to take care of a few things. As he leaped up, a ground-shaking flash of lightning tore through the sky, hitting a tree above the warriors' den square on. Thunder rumbled and he lost his grip, falling to the ground. He stared, blinking at the flaming tree for a moment, in a daze; then it dawned on him.
Brightstar leaped up onto the High Rock.
"NightClan! Fire! Everyone flee to the lake! Help the queens and kits first!"
After he had alerted his Clan, he leaped down and raced to the elders' den.

Mintfrost jumped to her paws, "You get the kits, I'll get my mother and family, and Cocoaclaw." She decided as if she didn't here what Sootnose had said

Doveflight rushed to the nursery, giving a nod to Brightstar, she called, "Anyone hurt? Everyone get to the lake! Brightstar's orders." In case no one had heard

Mintleaf nodded and shakily stood to his paws

Hawkeye ran to Frozenstorm

Redpaw padded to Ashpaw, "What now?" She looked towards Brackenleaf for answers. She grinned a little

Shark called to Mintfrost, "Already on it!" Mintfrost had said it quite loud. He dashed to his sister, "Get to the lake, I'll stay here and get the kits from the nursery. Go with the elders!"

Sunkit nudged Dusty to his paws and followed Starkit and Cheetahblaze, "Daddy! Starkit! Where is Flashkit?"

Rockyfall ran to Owlwing, memories of the last fire haunting him, he'd been the main target

Russetstar dashed into camp, looking about frantically for anyone to help

Russetstar watched in horror as the branch came down upon Brightstar's tail, remembering the traumatic time when his own tail burned off, he dashed to Brightstar. Fastening his teeth into his scruff, Russetstar tried pulling him away. In case, he reared up against the wall and tried to kick the log off, touching the side not yet burning. "You okay?"

Brackenleaf, Ashpaw, Redpaw...they were practically pushing cats into the fire. "
