Swiftstar smiled at the two new warriors. "You two will need to sit vigil tonight, which means you will guard camp and not speak." she said before calling the clan meeting to an end and heading over to Skybounce. She giggled. "Ready?"

Fadedecho nodded, smiling. He could sort of make out shadows and shapes. "Will I become another medicine cat apprentice with you Beetlepaw?" he asked with hope this time.

Fadedecho shrugged "How should I know? I'm just a useless blin cat." he complained, his ears flat against his head. He heard some chanting from outside and twitched his ears. "Hey is there a ceremony going on?"

Swiftstar waited for the cheering to quiet down before she continued. "Blaze, please step forward." she asked, looking at the young tom. She nodded approvingly as he did as she asked. " I, Swiftstar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice, he has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Blaze, do you promise to protect and defend this clan even at the cost of your life?" She asked. Blaze nodded and she continued. "Then from this day on you will be known as Blazefeather, in honor of your bravery and courage."

Splashleaf nodded and padded over to Blazefeather. She smiled brightly to him.

Fadedecho flattened his ears. "Why would StarClan do that?" he asked Beetlepaw with worry. "Anyways, should we ask Swiftstar about it..?"

Blazefeather dipped his head politely to Splashleaf. "Congratulations, Splashleaf," He said smiling. Blazfeather didn't know it was such an honor to join the Clan in one day but he was still happy and excited. "Do you like your new name?" he asked.

Splashleaf nodded. "I've been here for about a moon now, I used to be a prisoner." She answered, her feathery tail flicking. "How do you like it here?" She asked.
